Saturday 15th January, Easter Road Stadium, Kick-off 12pm. Live on ESPN.

Another away match for the bhoys. Hibs are struggling at the moment but Celtic will have had just over 48 hours to get over their tough match at Hamilton.

Any kind of win will do!

Shake up is needed as the team we played last night was no where near the standard required, Wilson and Ledley need to sit this one out, Paddy drops down to the bench after three largely uneffective games in a row. Stokes cannot play up front on his own, that is clear for all to see so young James Keatings comes in to play beside him.

Despite dominating possession in our last match, I don't think we created enough clear-cut chances. We must make our possession count against Hibs or else we risk being punished at the other end.

A big response is needed from the players - any win will do.

Is Hooper, Samaras or Kapo fit for this one?

We are really struggling for attacking options! Think Paddy needs to be relegated to the bench, ineffective in the last 3 games! We can't play one upfront again so we really need to give Keatings a chance! I've heard many a time that Ledley is more effective on te left hand side so I would give him a chance out ther!

I agree totally with you bud :50:
Attack is the best form of defence. Play the Celtic way, not this foreign way.

I agree. But the way I am looking at it is even if Rangers win their three
games in hand, they would be just four points ahead, and that is dependent
on them winning them all. If we beat them at Parkhead on Feb 20th, that would be just one point behind.Stokes equalizer was vital in my mental calculations.

Any update on this story a few days ago? Will he make the squad?

Gary Hooper pencils in Hibs return

Gary Hooper is on course to be back in contention for a return to action against HIbs in 10 days’ time.
The Celtic striker damaged ankle ligaments in the game against Kilmarnock two weeks ago, and was initially feared to be sidelined for up to six weeks.
However, the Hoops’ top scorer is already back running and is expected to resume full training very soon.
The club have confirmed this weekend’s Scottish Cup tie against Berwick, and the midweek SPL game at Hamilton, will come too soon for Hooper.
But the player hopes to be fit and ready to resume the following weekend, and said: “It was really sore when it happened.
“I knew I’d done something and had to go for the scan. But I’ve been lucky really.
“I was initially told it would take six weeks, but I’m jogging already, so hopefully it will be shorter than that.
“I have to take it easy and hope my ankle doesn’t react, so the jogging hasn’t been too intense.”
Hooper is aware that manager Neil Lennon is in the market for another striker. But any new arrival will be used as a partner rather than a replacement for the man who was signed from Scunthorpe in the summer.
“I just want to get back playing,” said Hooper, who has already scored 11 goals. “My only target is to not get injured again. I want to stay out of the physio room and keep scoring goals for Celtic.”

We need to win this and need to score some early goals, and we also need to get some wins as the huns have 3 more games to play.
