    That is big news, even though it was expected I was wondering if Utd were hanging with LVG in the hope Pep would join.

    Big test for Guardiola this. I'll be amazed if he can get them to a CL final within 3 years. How long is the deal? Of all the team's he managed this one is in need of some help. I bet he's given a ton of cash. He'll attract some big names too, I think a lot of players want to play for him

    I wonder how the £200m Messi rumours will pan out :rolleyes:

    I wonder what team he will try and build, Man City are a few players away from Guardiola style football.

    I think he will target players like Hummels, Gundogan, Koke, Verratti, Thiago, Weigl and probably go for Griezmann or Reus as they lack a goalscoring player who plays off a striker or up front or out wide etc De Bruyne, Silva and Sterling aren't really goalscorers.

    Would like to see a team like

    Hart
    ????? Kompany Hummels ?????
    Gundogan
    Koke Thiago
    Silva Aguero Reus

    Don't know about full-backs, they need 2 new ones really, probably won't make that many signings right away though maybe only 3, through the spine like Hummels, Thiago, Griezmann and a younger squad player.
