Griffiths start on debut against Aberdeen??

anyone think he will start or be kept on bench as such a big game in the cup due to lack of playing time intersting one i think.

 

I think he'd be a good sub to bring on, especially if we're needing a goal or looking to extend the league. His pace against the likes of Anderson, Consodine and Reynolds, who will probably be blowing out their arses by the hour mark, will terrorise them and it'll be easy pickings.

That being said, I wouldn't mind if he started. I trust Lennon's call on it.

 

Wouldn't particularly mind if he started, but weirdly this is our biggest game for some time. We can take risks in league games, but not here. Not that it's a particularly big risk to take.

 

I have a feeling he will start. He will have had a full weeks training with the team, he knows the Scottish game inside out and he should be match sharp as he played a lot with Wolves in the first half of the season.

 

Not sure he will start, Lennon seems to be going for a settled team the last while.

I think he will come on as a sub at some point.

 

He'll deffo get game time,a hunch he'll start but with the game being massive he may go with tried and tested, history tells us he'll do that..

a have a hunch too , it would show faith in the bhoy blending inthing tht lennon does hasnt work with any others and griffiths scoring in a big game on his debut would set the stall for a great start to his celtic career and its not a position where anyone has been particularly on form so a gamble i would take

 

The way stokes played on Sunday, I'd be starting griffiths.

I think he should start....the last time we had a debutant playing against the dons in the scottish cup was Commons and he did no too bad..so stick him in and shake them up

It would be a big slap in the face to all our forwards though if Griffith's got the nod in his first game eligible, the flip side is it could give some of our miss firing strikers a kick up the *..
An interesting one to see what Lenny does here,does he bring sammy back in aswell? Hopefully not..

 

He should start ahead of Stokes. If you are Reynolds, Anderson etc you would rather see Stokes's name on the team sheet than Griffiths. Or we could start them both ? They might actually form a good partnership.

 

Not really seeing as they haven't been consistently producing goals this season. We payed the best part of £1 million for Leigh so he should at least get a chance off the bench in this game. I like him as a player I think hes got what it takes.

I'd say commons was a stick on for one of the striker roles,will be him and one other and to be honest he deserves it to be like that for the season he's having..

 

He will start and I hope he rips the sheep * * apart

 

This Stokes has been terrible for a while now,it's as if he knows there's no replacement for him,well there is now and if Griffiths scores he might not get back in the team

 

Dodgy game to hand him his debut. He * up, and hands Aberdeen the game it'll * up his Celtic career for a while anyway.
