Thomas Gravesen could still become a Celtic player within the next week, despire interest from Newcastle United in the player.
The Real Madrid midfielder has been told he can find a new club and his agent claims the player is still very much interested in a move to the Scottish champions.
The 30 year old's agent John Sivebaek said: "Thomas is still very warm on the idea of moving to Glasgow."
Celtic would have to pay around £2 million to land the Danish international and it is understood that should he sign, Stilian Petrov could make a quicker than expected exit from the club.
