as i said in another thread he deserves a chance. we cant keep shipping midfielders in and out every season - we need stability and if graveson is willing to stay and fight for his place then that shows real character on his part.

i do agree however that he needs to learn some discipline.

Ffs grab it with both hands. That would be a result if we got £3m for him.

I've always said on this forum that I liked the guy and I stand by it. No doubt he has drastically under-performed but he is still a good player. I also agree with the point made by someone (Keltoi maybe?), I don't think he's quite right in the head at the moment and the club should help the guy through it and try to get the best the best out of him.

Give him till christmas and if it still ain't working , let him go.

If you watched the Falkirk game at the Westfield stadium you would have noticed that Hartley gave the ball away like Gaveson did at OF. The selective memory of such fans is extremely naive

So you have been blown out the water

    Agreed.
I'd take Hartley, he should settle and go into his Hearts/Scotland form next season.

Besiktas has maked a bid for Tommy G., but he rejects to move from Celtic. And the big turkish clubs always pays a good wage.

It's a bit harsh IMO to say he just want to "pick up his fat pay packet every week". Why shouldn't he don't want to stay and fight?

If Tomy G and Jarosik stay, I honestly expect them to improve next year. It sometimes takes a season for players to settle at an Old Firm club, I also expect Hartley and Magic to put last years poor season behind them.
I won't pass judgement on them too quickly, if the above mentioned haven't improved by christmas then maybe it would be time to move them on.

Graveson - does not deserve to stay - END OF STORY
In CL matches ( which he was bought to perform) he played like a youth team player .....

    He has NO defence

Besiktas are on the brink of a 2.5 million euros swoop to take Celtic flop Thomas Gravesen off Celtic's hands.

But the deal is threatened by the midfielders pay demands of 60,OOO euro a week pay demands

The Istanbul club have agreed a deal with Parkhead bosses and have been given a green light to speak to the 31 year old.

But Gravesen will only agree to a switch to the Turkish club if he is guaranteed at least 3 million euro a year in wages-that despite a woeful debut season in the SPL.[Irish News of The World] [Not the most reliable source I know!]
