This has got to be Glenda's last chance. He runs abouts swishing his * hair like he is modelling for L'oreal.

You are a liability. People hated Caldwell and McManus, yet they both have 5 league winners medals between them, yet Glenda comes in, and Rangers win 2 in a row.

We cannot him to * up this weekend. He should never have played again after Miller made a * of him twice last year.

1 mistake his week, and he MUST go

If he starts on Sunday, I will go into the game depressed, if he doesn't start, I will be feeling confident.

Im 99% sure he will start, I would like to see Jos or Rogne but doubt Lenny will change much of the team from the Dundee game.

Agreed. The mans a liability. If I remember rightly, we weren't even interested in signing him until we found out the huns wanted him.

I'd rather have Caldwell or McManus there then Loovens its just unbelieveable how * he is Rogne and Misun are better than him.

I think he gets too much critiscm, i know he can be a bit of a bombscare but i think alot of time he is a decent defender, i would still sign a centre half in January but until i see bit more of Jos and Rogne i would stick with loovens, His turning is terrible but i do think he has some pace for a defender, if he has a bit of a head start i dont see the striker getting passed him. He Can be quite dirty at times aswell so i dont believe in the loreal comments, i think he just needs a long run in the team to get top form and confidence and he will come good.

He must go. He should never have been allowed to wear the hoops again after Miller made him look like a * fairy.
I don't even think Maj has looked comfortable playing with Loovens coz he feels like he's playing as 2 cb's. Get rid in Jan and get in a proper centre half.
And just to add somthing, Hooiveld hasn't looks too good either. But clumsy, very slow and a bit gobby.
If it were up to me, I'd try out Rogne or Misun to see how they cope. Can't be much worse. But for Sunday Loovens should stay in the team. An OF match is not the time for experiments

He is a liability but he will start on Sunday. For all his failings Glenda and big Dan have the best defensive record in the league. The main reason Lennon won't change the partnership.

That's like saying 'I've got roasting sore piles and I know what curry powder will do to them, but I think I'll just smear some on them anyway.:50:'

    Reasons?

Just imagine Ramis and Majstorovic as a centre back pairing.

Loovens is a ticking time-bomb, I really hope he doesn't cost us on Sunday.

In saying that, I agree with Markie - I would have him starting on Sunday.

Reason being, he seems the best out of a very bad bunch - I've not seen enough of Hooiveld, Rogne or Misun and I'm still unconvinced by all 3 of them.

Until I see more of them, one or two decent performances, just isn't enough for me to say they are better than a poor Loovens.

I can't get my head around the amount of credit Rogne gets in here - I'm not saying he's not going to be a good defender but we've barely seen him play. Players can look the answer to our problems, when we've only seen them a couple of times. For example, Fox looked the answer to our LB problem and in my opinion - was found out.

Glenn Loovens is certainly a weak link in our back four and probably one of the poorest centre-backs I have seen in a Celtic jersey. The only bright spot for me is that I don't believe he has a long term future at Celtic. I'm pretty sure that in January, or next summer, Neil Lennon will be looking to bring another centre-back in. When that new centre-back arrives I think Glenn Loovens first team opportunities will be very limited.

Will just have to imagine :38:, his centre back partner will be Kelvin Wilson in January

Apart from Majsotrovic and Hooiveld. Or in fact, any defense we've had Hooiveld in, in the league, over the last 2 years.

4 league games and 3 clean sheats (with the only goal being Robbie Keanes deubt where Hooiveld was injured in the run-up to the goal).

Bear in mind as well, Hooiveld wasnt even fit in most of those games, and has had a different partner in just about everyone.

Then again I keep forgetting how * he is and that we should recall O'dea and Thompson or play Misun and Rogne who cannae last 90 minutes between them

Loovens is the scapegoat of this team. We've always had one: Telfer, McManus, Caldwell etc.

Brown's position as club captain and multi-million pound signing automatically put him in the firing line. The fact he's failed to live up to the tag/hype or whatever means he will always get it in the neck; more justified than not.
