Supergrass, Pulp and Oasis all touring... is this the summer of a Britpop revival?

 

LOL, well, that too.

 

Going to see Christy Moore in Killarney in July. Cannot * wait. Making a holiday of it as well and going to a few places nearby whilst I’m over.

 

Sisters of Mercy and Fields of the Nephilim in the summer. Kelvingrove and the O2

 

Enjoyed Bruce Springsteen in Liverpool at the weekend, even with Ticketmaster * up our seats. Fair play to the folk working at the stadium, actually sorted us with better seats than what we'd booked. But aye, * Ticketmaster. Absolutely detest them.

Have Nine Inch Nails end of the month in Amsterdam, then The Cribs playing the New Fellas in July.

 

Was thinking of going to sisters of mercy myself. Not a big fan but seen them before at abc a few years back. Missus and her da like them. Good show to be fair

 

Going to holly johnson in 2 weeks with the wife. She loved a bit of frankie goes to Hollywood

 

Went to Slam Dunk festival at the end of May. Electric Callboy, The Used, Finch, A Day To Remember, Home Grown, The Ataris, New Found Glory, Alkaline Trio. All great.
Also saw Babymetal again at The O2 on the 30th. Brilliant as usual.

 

Saw Brian Adams in May at the hydro. First time at that venue for myself. Whatta show he put on. Brilliant. Going to see simple minds and stereophonics at the end of the month. Don't hold a lot of hope for simple minds. My wife wants to see them. Got tickets for metallica next year. Can't wait for that

 

Off to see Sam Fender Sunday only know a few tunes of his, hopefully it’s a good day out.

 

Winterstorm festival in troon every november is superb. Best staff ever.google them. HH

 

Relax when you wanna come HH

 

Ive seen them many times over the years but last year at Edinburgh castle I thought they had a bit less energy than usual. Suede on the other hand were full of energy - it was the first time Ive seen them and I wasnt a big fan back in the day but they were more into it.

 

Its grim the first time you realise you are the 'original generation' at a gig in the eyes of the much younger adults in the crowd

 

Holly johnson was grand. Some good patter, some good covers. Did a really good set.

 

Off to see Deacon Blue in October, hopefully a good night.

 

Haven't been to many gigs the last few years but got a few upcoming. White Buffalo and The Dear Hunter this year, and Metallica next year.

Also got tickets for the Inside No.9 stage show later this year.

 

Deftones and Weezer on Sunday.
