I beg to differ mate. He was a contributing factor but then the Holy one saved two certain goals that would have put us in * long before Naka even wandered onto the park. Once on the park his touch was awful...like it was Wednesday night and he done nothing apart from the free kick, which would have been saved by any decent keeper.

I like the boy, I honestly do. He has talent to burn but he shirks tackles a la Beckham by lifting out, he has no speed to go past people and as for tracking back to help out...do me a favour. He left 19yr old Caddis hopelessly exposed Wednesday and to me that's unforgivable, a seasoned pro not putting a shift in.

Don't give a * how fancy a dead ball striker he is...if he can't graft, he has no place in the team. It's time for him to step up in the OF games. In previous games he was kicked a couple of times in the first 5 mins then put his invisibility cloak on and went missing for the next 85mins

Boruc stopped us losing the game, Naka won it.

 

thats why Boruc and Naka were last season both being talked about as being worth mega bucks. What they do in about 2 minutes of every game has won us so many points its unreal. Its not really about across the 90.

 

to say naka only scores free kicks doesn't really make sense to me.

since he has returned to the celtic side we have scored 21 goals in eight matches.

naka has scored 3 goals in 8 games in that time.

he has also been directly involved in 6 of the 21 goals we have scored.

that is 9 goals out of 21 that naka has scored or been at the heart of.

he started 11 spl games this season and came on as a sub twice.

the dip in form happened when naka wasn't in the team.

 

Robson didn't do much better today in the same position, although to be honest he was probably fuct after Wednesday

People forget that whenever a defender is dedicated to marking a player 2 things will happen
a) you'll see less of the marked player in the offense

b) there is one less defender * around with everyone else which = chances for everyone else

 

the thing is naka IS capable of a lot more just hasnt been doing it,we need a lot more from him in the way he was in his first season
very lazy player now but great free kicks
absolutely no use against the huns and any games where a wee bit of dig is needed, if he cant perform in these games its time to trade up....
