he should stay. he is one of our core players and i'd like to keep the core players together and see how far they and Lennon can take us.

it would have to be silly money for us to even contemplate it.

Agree people was moaning about Sammy not doing enough but to me he was being asked to lead the line and give us a out ball i would say Lennon told him to just stay up .

Hooper could have done more but that is not really his game but in a game like that you need the work rate .

It's the one game you need to sacrifice yourself for the sake of the team.

Sammy ran the channels made himself available whenever possible and done all of Hooper's dirty work. Can't praise him enough, top marks.

Me too. It's either that or a lack of fitness.

    Broony!
He's had a good season & a half. We know he can score goals and is definitely one for the keeping. As for the talk, it's an agent's job. As for agents, can't fecking stand them! Majority are nothing but selfish, trouble making gobshites! Hopefully Hoops continues his good form and scores the goals that bring us the league. Then he is in a position of strength and can negotiate accordingly!
    Hail Hail

All it is is his new agent trying to get money, both for himself and for Hooper. Can't remember where I read it, but im sure I saw it say he was on £16k a week somewhere. Lets finish this season first, then offer him a new deal if he deserves one.

Inevitable that Hooper is attracting interest.
    Doubt he'll move.

Hearing whispers that hOOper is in Newcastle. Possible.
Hearing whispers it's for £3m. Highly unlikely.

We would never accept a bid of 3 mil for Hooper, there would be a riot outside Parkhead.
