Far too early to judge him it was his 1st game at parkhead and 1st in the champs league . he would have been bricking it , he looked alot better when he found him self out wide , he done more than Skippy tho ,and missed a few sitters but all strikers do he just needs that one goal to get off the marc.

While I am upbeat regarding most matters Celtic, I can only hope that my inclination that he is a waste of money proves unfounded.

Aye Landry was outstanding but he is here on loan and needs to do his best to win a move , Fortune is our big buy this season 3.8 million so its alot of pressure on the lads head , it dont help players when we have * of fans that shout there * etc before they have even kicked a ball the amount of abuse that Dan Fox got because he put a volley wide was disgraceful. :38:fans like this can get tae * and go support the huns , it wasnt even a clear cut chance ,

    let´s all do the huddle..
i wouldn´t shout at new players but i don´t know why mogga spend 3.8m for the guy. he is not a striker. i been to Brisbane, Cardiff and London so far and he played very poor at all games. he seems unable to control the ball. not his fault but for 5.5m more we could have had marc janko instead. he was very keen to move to celtic. don´t know why nobody at celtic park kept the contact after wgs left. :97:

Not the best start to his Celtic career, he missed 2 golden chances, but to be fair to him he put in a lot of work. He doesn't look an out and out striker to me, when he was out wide he looked much more comfortable, put in a few decent crosses but was wasteful in front of goal, dissapointing..

Interesting post, especially when in another thread, you were giving loovens the same kind of abuse that you are banging on about here.

i agree aswell part from the missed chances he had a decent game, he worked hard and caused their defense a few problems

I don't think he had that bad of a competitive debut, he worked hard created a few chances for us, and yes he should have buried that chance but hopefully match sharpness will improve his finishing.

Can't believe people are practically writing the guy off after 1 competitive game, it's way too early to say how successful he'll be with us.

Too many fickle fans willing to totally criticise a player one week then rave about them the next week, before once again going back to criticise - instead of assessing their performances over a period of games.

Don't think it was a debut to remember, two great chances missed that could prove to be the difference but I did think he held it up well. No one should write him of yet though, Larsson scored an OG on his European debut.
