A little less than 2 months ago, before he had even kicked a ball, I wrote the following......

    ""Dear *, it's a nightmare unfolding.....

<HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #34973d; COLOR: #34973d" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Well maybe not, but picture this. When Martin O'Neill came to CP, he brought with him players from the top league, and we got the likes of Sutton, Thompson, Lennon and Hartson. When Strachan came along, we got his circle of influence...Lee Naylor anyone? So along comes Mogga, and what the plan? The likes of a failed striker called Marc-Antoine Fortune whose strike rate is no better than what we already have.""

After dozens of replies all telling me to keep the faith, have some belief and give Fortune the chance. Well after tonights performance, I am more vehement in my belief that Fortune is a nightmare....and a real expensive one at that. Tonight, against Arsenal, he was the true lone wanderer leaving his strike partner alone in the box. Long ball comes in, there was no one to knock the ball down because Fortune was 40 yards away somewhere on the wing.

The man has absolutely no tactical awareness and creates very little but more hard work for Macdonald when they play together.

Of course, I am not blaming Fortune for the Arsenal defeat. Arsenal's speed of movement was quite superb.. Their bench cost more money than our whole team put together...tv money at work, I am afraid.

I wonder how many of those who criticised my article still stands by Fortune as the marquee signing to take Celtic forward.

    Henke, John Collins
He held the ball up well and was our most dangerous striker tonight.
