will he back up to Zaluska or do yous reckon he will be first choice. Whilst Zaluska hasn't inspired he hasn't done anything majorly bad tbh.

 

Was expecting a bigger name than him but awell a hope he does us a turn, never saw him play.

 

I'd imagine Thompson and Lambert have recommended him - so he can't be bad. No one had really hard of Boruc prior to him signing for us and he was brilliant. Perhaps Lennon is keeping his money for another target.

 

I can see the both of them competing for the jersey but with Zaluska keeping his place in the team untill he costs us dear or he's making too many mistakes and needs dropped before he costs us points..
Similar to the David Marshall/Artur Boruc situation when Strachan took over with Marshall retaining his place in the team at the start of the season , untill he made mistakes and cost us goals..

 

i think that could be the case as well. Hopefully Zal will hit some form and regain some confidence and show more composure. Forster sounds a decent keeper as well.

 

Zaluska still 1st choice for me

 

Although Zaluska has looked suspect at set pieces, he hasn't done enough wrong to merit dropping him. Baring in mind that he's played second fiddle to Boruc for a fairly long period of time, I think it's fair that Zaluska get's first crack at the whip.

The goalies jersey is only his to lose.

Agree that Zaluska deserves more of a chance. But he has some competition that he has to handle.

also mabe we are getting him in and then gona wait till jan and offer westwood a contract for next season, doing it on the cheap as the celtic board has done in the past

please don't try and have a go about the board thing they do try and get the best and cheap deal......
(had to say that cause some people on this fourm are a joke and will make a pointless comment on it)

 

surely its a good thing if the club can get good players in and for a cheaper price - thus leaving money available for other targets. The board have backed Lennon excellenty in this window and they haven't finished yet.

 

never heard of the guy or seen him play. had been hoping for a bigger name but if lambert recomended him then he cant be too bad, looking forward to seeing what he can do.

 

waiting until hes on the news standin bside lenny tbh,would rather somebody else maybe a bit more experience but will give the big fella a chance an if he does well hope theirs a option of buying rather than just doing newcastle a favour for a season
