We have all used the expression. We all know what it means. Putting aside formation or tactics, who would be your first 2 or 3 names on the teamsheet, and why?

Hinkel - Always consistent, different class to any of our players (excluding loans).

Rasmussen - Has done more than enough to merit a starting spot.

Robbie Keane - Lets face it, your best player is first on the team sheet and Keane is our best player. 3 goals in 6 games so far, combined with his movement, intelligence and ability.

Thomas Rogne - Based on what I've seen the kid is good enough to be playing regularly for the first team, although his fitness might not have fully matured. I was delighted with his performance at Ibrox and gutted he got injured.

Marc-Antoine Fortune - Strong, fast, good on the ball and has been on a fine run of form recently. He's an excellent forward IMO.

Chuck in the likes of Boruc, NGuemo and Hinkel and we should have a decent core. Should.

Hinkel ,Boruc ,,have been the stand-outs in recent weeks for Celtic ,Fortune im starting to warm to aswell although he is not an out and out striker ,he makes his own chances with quick feet and determination that he has .

Same like you, but with addition of N'Guemo. Very good in defensive duties, great at slowing down attacks. He needs to know that creative work is reserved for other players, and just worry about defense.

I can't make my mind up on N'Guemo. He does cover all the defensive duties well at times but he tends to give the ball away to cheaply in dangerous areas. Defensive midfielders like N'Guemo should be winning or intercepting the ball and laying it off to a more creative player.

A steal at the agreed price though and he's still young, we could tweak his game accordingly.

Hinkel : Most consistent player all season

It's because he supposedly plays in a more attacking role for his homeland. He needs to dump that and focus solely on being a DM. As you say, he should leave attacking to Crosas/Ki.

Yes mate, I know he does play in a more attacking role for Cameroon - I watched him in the African Nations.

If N'Guemo can just simply concentrate on the defensive side of his game, I'm sure he can go onto being a key player for us in the future. As I said, I think he's a bargain at the agreed price (£1.5 million I think), I would like to see him get a permanent deal.

Keane, Boruc and N'Guemo. They are the only ones who play at a level to demand a place week-in week-out

Absolutely. He is a very good defensive player, in an area we are thin in. Only him and Brown play there. We need N'Guemo signed for permanent, and another, possibly taller DM. 3 would be a good number to have.

boruc -his form recently has proved his critics wrong
keane - just for his ability and creativeness in front of goal
nguemo - personally think hes been celtics most consistent performer this season

    Fortune, Hinkel....after those i'm struggling.

I've liked the look of Thompson and Rogne, so probably either of them.
