Who was the first ever band you got into? Also are you still into them now?

Mine would of been Adam and the ants, my dad had a video of them and i used to watch it over and over. Even used to use paper and stick tape it over my face to try copy adam:56: I still love his music and is still on of my favourite bands.

ive a true story about this,
in the 80s my friends had a band called FX in castlemilk they played a few gigs in and around castlemilk then the drummer chucked it,so they got a drum machine and asked me to work it for them,me i havent a clue what to do, i said ,so we rehearst for nearly 2 weeks as "we" had the biggest gig to date coming up in the oasis pub on a sunday night for a big charity night,

so the sunday arrives ,were all doddled up with popstar gear on,i know what your thinking * right,,,and were ready to rock and roll,,,,the big intro ladies and gentlemen ect ect,,,,we walk on the drum machine is on top of the last performers keyboard to make it look like im playing the keyboard in stead of pressing a total of 3 buttons on the drum machine

so ive to start the machine, unknown to me they changed the order of songs,i pressed the first song,,and they all looked at me like "what the * ru doing " i said who ru talking to ya *,,,over the mic,,,we ended up blaming each other and i stormed of ,* u i said before we even started "in true pop star fashion" threw the poxy machine on the floor and said do it yer self,,,

    lol couldent make it up

Liked G'n'R's and a few others, but Radiohead were the first band I was really into. Started with "Just", on the "The Bends" and took it from there. Still think they're the best British band on the go just now.

When I was a wee boy I liked singles by the likes of The Sweet and Mud. But the first band I really got in to was Blondie.
