First Celtic Game Attended

I was rummaging through my Celtic stuff for the centenary top for the game on sunday there and took a photo of some of the tickets of my first games (I've kept every ticket and top i've ever had) Its quite patchy what i remember about these games as i was quite young at the time. Was just wondering if you guys had any similar pics or remembered your first few games?

What a find and keepsake you have got there ! First game i went to was in 94 v the sheep, think i still have the ticket floating about but id need to look hard for it.

 

March 1995 scottish cup fifth round against Dundee united. We were losing 1-0'until the last 2 minutes where Thom and big pierre scored. Cracking day.
My first game with my season book in 97 was against Roma in a friendly which we won 1-0

 

It was during the 2001 season, when I got my first ST, cant remember who it was against but I remember missing the first game v Hearts and my ticket still being there for the rest of the season which * me off.

I also plan to keep all the tickets from the games I go to next season. Hopefully have a full 38 game collection.

 

Not quite as impressive as Brady's, but this was my first Celtic game.

 

Was it any of these 2 games mate?

 

Against Dundee at CP, I think it was around 2002. We beat Dundee 3-0 or 3-1 at home, I remember Larsson and Hartson scoring.

 

Somewhere around 2004/5, we beat kille 5-1. Remember Larsson scoring.

 

That friendly against Roma was my first ever celtic match I was at!

 

I think it was Celtic at Dumbarton in 1974. I remember it was a midweek game and we won.

 

v Killie at CP, 1994. We won as far as I remember. Done my first solo talk on it in primary school :icon_mrgreen:

 

my first game was in the league cup against Raith rovers in 2000, it was 4-0 and it was Alan Thompsons debut. Thats all I can remember.

 

september 19th 2002. 8-1 against suduva with larsson getting a hat trick and petrov scoring a beaut of a volley

 

My first game wasn't actually in the Celtic end. My auld man couldn't get tickets for the Celtic end because they were sold out, so we ended up in the Dunfermline end.

11th of February 2004, 4-1 to Celtic. Larsson, Varga, Larsson Thompson.

Thompson actually set up all 3 of the other goals, I can remember that game like it was yesterday and I was only about 10. Suppose your first game sticks with you, I'd struggle to remember some games from a few years back. I can remember jumping about mad and to be fair to them, they took it excellently. One of them even had me on their shoulders because I couldn't see that well. I've still got the ticket pinned up as well, as I have all my away tickets(although I was in the home stand on that occasion).

 

My first game was Tony Adams' testimonial, Arsenal v Celtic back in 2002. Not sure if I've still got the ticket, I tend to hold on to tickets as well but I don't have any old ones here at uni. I'm sure I've still got a programme from my second game, a 7-3 win over QPR a few months after.
My first competitive game was beating Dundee 2-0 in December 2002 at Celtic park. John Hartson scored an outstanding overhead kick, but because he was playing for us as opposed to an English team, it was quickly forgotten about. I'm sure I've still got that ticket around somewhere as well.

 

Vs the mini huns in october 2003 at CP we pumped them 5-0. Liam Miller (2), an own goal, Larsson & Varga with the goals :icon_mrgreen:

 

At home to Dundee under either Josef Venglos, John Barnes or Kenny Dalglish.
We won 1-0 courtesy of a Morten Weighorst chip from outside the box.

 

My first game was a pre-season friendly against Sporting Lisbon that finished 2-2 (Cadete and Donnelly scored for Celtic)

 

Friendly against Shels I think.

 

Friendly v. Chivas Guadelejara in New Jersey, few years ago, finished scoreless
