    Hello All,

It's a while since I have been on the forum.

We are taking my young Cousin up for his first game and we want to make a weekend of it. The trouble is we don't want to be stuck in the Hotel at night.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a place we can take an 8 year old while we are visiting for the Hamilton game on Friday 4th/Saturday 5th March?

Any social clubs or family friendly places we can go for a drink?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ashley

The Crystal Bell is now a family friendly pub, its at the start of gallowgate(where all the celtic bars are), near to glasgow cross. It used to have a hooligan problem but is now under new ownership and is well policed.

Good spot for pints before and after game, dont know how late the will let kids stay.

I would tell you but I'm only 16 and too young :fear:

Serious but, just go to a wee cafe/resturaunt, there is a few around. Coias Cafe in Duke Street, Dennistoun is quite a good place. Seen Marc Crosas in there once.
