Sorry to hear. Won't ask what happened as its nobody's business. But just distance yourself l, focus on you, dont be stalking her socials or texting. Find your passions again and hit the gym.

It's not an easy time for you mate, I know the feeling only too well. Been there, done that, and wore the t shirt.
I think with time you will get to realise that she was not the right one for you long term, might not seem that way right now, but believe me you will get there. The main thing is to not let it destroy your own self confidence and self esteem. Personally, I don't think any bird is worth that.
She has a different direction in life, and so do you.
Some relationships are only meant to be time sensitive, and to teach you more lifetime experience. I tend to subscribe to that now. Don't hold a grudge against her either, it's not worth it and counter productive, just walk on and look out for the next one.
My Mam used to say to me when I get the old heave ho from an Ex, was " Don't get too upset, she wasn't worthy of you ", move on and the right one will come along at the right time.
I know that was good advice now.NakamuraTastic, Wee Baldy and Jeannie960 like this. -

Never an easy thing to deal with. That said, ALWAYS something that can be navigated by getting back to basics.
You are your own person and that is what's important. Focus on what makes you who you are. You're at the start of a process that will help you evolve, and it's a matter of time till you're back on track.

I was the one who had to say it was over but it was obviously over before then.

Here’s me wondering is this a delayed reaction to Jota, Ange or O’Riley leaving?

Just to add, the obvious first instinct may be to go 'aw get over it' or 'chin up' etc. It's a man thing. But in this day and age I'd say it's worth taking the compassionate route in responding to the OP.
It's easy for * to be flippant about it when their circumstances are different, but you just never know.Jeannie960 likes this. -
Hope yer man the OP has somewhere he can go to, or family/friends etc, never a good time of the year for this * especially if there's kids involved.Wee Baldy likes this.
