Du Wei wasnt that bad

I thought he did aright, i think the penalty was mcmanus' fault because of his missed header and i still think he deserves another chance.

 

he was that * bad but i do agree that du wei deserves another chance when he bulks himself up and gets more body strength of course he deserves another go look at henriks debut

Du Wei was shocking bad, you can`t defend him.He was bullied off the ball very easily & didnt seem to fancy the rough stuff, not the centre half you want in your team.I`d have Varga or even Balde in there before him.At least they can handle the physical stuff

 

Big McManus misstimed the ball in the first place cause he wasn't concentrating mate. Du Wei was pish, that reject ran him ragged all day, suppose he needs to toughen up a bit then he can have another chance.

 

Du Wei didn't have the greatest debut, but his fellow defenders didn't give him any help in what was always going to be a very tricky tie.
Don't forget, Paul Elliot and Alan Stubbs were both pretty poor in their first season, but both recovered to have some outstanding games for the Hoops.
As for the penalty, poor judgement by McManus put Du Wei under pressure, and although there was contact the Clyde player made the most of it.
I hope he gets another chance, I think Strachan will start with Virgo against Killie, but McManus isn't far away from a suspension.
Funny how a couple of weeks ago certain people on this forum were calling for Bobo to leave, but now all of a sudden if he'd been playing yesterday.... it would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

 

maybe Du wei was being smart and thinking if i pull this guy down boruc has the chance to save the penalty whereas if he didn't pull him down he would probably have went on to score as he was one on one, so maybe we should cut him some slack and give the bhoy another chance

 

du wei didnt have a good debut,but i still think he should be given another chance like!hope strachan does give him another chance.and i agree way stoogie,i think strachan ill start virgo against killie too.

 

Du Wei was murder at the heart of defense, but after watching the game again he was not helped out by the rest of the defense and realy needs to build himself up if he is to get another chance,remember this was the team forth in the first division.

Du Wei got caught ball watching and nearly caused a goal, gave away a pen, and just fell over for no reason! not to sure on him......thot he looked scared aswell.

If you look closely, DU Wei tripped and that is what brought the guy down
