With all the bickering around just now I would like to know how the real Celtic fans feel. Do you trust the people that are running OUR club to pull us through these uncertain times and re-establish Glasgow Celtic as a great side??

I trust Strachan, but like MoN his hands are tied, the majority owner and board call the shots, they call for prudence and frugality if you like, so therefor Celtic are at the moment what you see is what you get.
If you expect Celtic to be a great side, forget it, it aint going to happen! :87:

Do I trust Gordon Strachan? Yes, fully, confident in him, and have trust and faith in what he's doing for the club, whether he's had a few bad results this season or not. Even if I did not, he would still get no worsened support from me.

Still not really his team, and as others have pointed out, his hands have been tied by our frugile board.
Strachan has breathed new life into Celtic's play, it's not the finished article yet, but given enough time and some more financial support, I believe Celtic will have a great team under Strachan and a rosy future.

I believe that there is truth in the comments about the old boys brigade. Their easy street existence under MON has been clearly upset by GS and they don't like it one bit! Double training sessions and less days on the golf course was never going to be accepted by the likes of Sutton and co. and they should be ashamed of themselves if there is one grain of truth in it! Not ashamed for letting GS down, ashamed for letting us the fans down!
The days of lazy gits taking over £30,000 a week for doing very litte have to end and there should be 3 or 4 of them looking over their shoulders. It could be a blessing in disguise believe it or not!

I do trust him but he needs backing from the board to strengthen the team.Sundays game showed just how lacking in quality replacements Celtic dont have.

What are we saying here, that Gordon has an agenda to bring the club down, that is paranoid.

He is probably doing his utmost given the circumstances. Maybe that is good enough but only time will tell. 7 points and 17 points ahead may be a myth this year but we still beat a * good Hearts side!

I said it before and i'll say it again ALOT dont know how this club is run or how a PLC company works. There is no majority owner at Celtic, Dermot Desmond is the majority shareholder (there is a huge difference) because of ONE simple fact, nobody else is investing on the same scale as him, yes the board call the shots, its a PLC company. He has to be careful about the amount that he wants to invest, because he could trigger an automatic takeover bid which nobody wants, including DD. I'm sick of this ignorance.

    P.S. Well said Derryduck

I trust the guy to get as much out of lets face it, mostly a bunch of fairly average players. To make a great side you have to have a mix of great and well above average players. We don't at present, so GS has possibly an impossible task, unless of course the board wave a magic wand and find loadsa dough or hi-jack a Russian billionaire!!!.
