    Could someone take a look at this thread and advise me on where it went off topic? Because I certainly feel it wasn't me that steered it that way.

    As a response to the question in the title of the thread, I posted a dissenting opinion on the topic, which is a regular part of normal discussion. A mod decided that a differing view on the subject was going off topic. I was a bit unsure in how my point was off topic (resulting in a confused emoticon), and I tried to make my point as clearly related to the topic as possible. The same mod called my response "smart arsed" and offered up the Forum rules, which I have read and have also not violated (except for this thread possibly being a "problem with a staff decision," although this forum is clearly labeled as a place for "Question, Feedback or Inquiry for the Staff").

    You've read the rules, and you've admitted that maybe you shouldn't have opened this thread, but you did anyway. If you have a problem with a staff members decision, pm them, as it clearly states in the rules you claim to have read.
