Also something that does my head in is the cladding at the back of the stands surely could be made glass or even a certain type of see through window that most stadiums have to separate away fans from home

Im sure they will crunch the numbers but I think the hotel idea could make good sense. Im sure thousands of celtic fans would enjoy the novelty as well as many travelling to games. And as long as the area doesnt put tourists off, it is close enough to glasgow central for people to stay even if they arent too fussed about the football. It will be interesting to see what standard they build to.

On stadium expansion, I dont see much value in it. This year has been exceptional but I dont see a 70k-75k stadium being filled much besides big European games and against rangers. I doubt that would cover the cost of the effort.

Man this looks impressive, a really exciting prospect, would love to see it given the green light.

Celtic really are striding away from the rest of Scottish football on and off the park.

What a time to be alive.

Looking at the plans theres a great area between Megastore and stadium that could be used for fan zones.
Also LED rotating screen in back

Aye he is bringing up all his state aid stuff again, posting stuff about the councillors and using land prices from 2005 before a recession and the Archibald fell out construction! Man deserves to be committed to a facility that houses people who need monitoring!

Oft just seen what @pablo88 was saying about their bigoted drivel they are in overdrive! The council land as it was around Celtic park was worthless after the recession and the council tax freeze for years we paid over the odds it's our land it's our hotel once it's built!

We are light years ahead of anyone in Scotland! Imagine what we could do with the EPL money if we had it up here! If we make the CL groups next season again I think we will canter to 10 In a row!

I doubt it will rival the Balmoral in Edinburgh but we shouldn't be aiming at a travel lodge either, so a high end 3 or 4 star imo would be about right.

Aye building a bigger stadium currently is pretty pointless tbh. Its always brought up every so often though. I just don't get the reasoning behind it , apart from what 10 games a season max that's assuming we sold out the qualifiers. It seems, like most things, wee Fergus had the ideal capacity pretty much right as well.

I think the only way we would knock down the main stand and build a bigger capacity was if we joined EPL or some sort of Euro super league both won't happen this side of 2020 I think

The club are building us to be a powerhouse In Scotland. Will it bring in Hundreds Of Millions No but it will bring new eyes to the club, new fans and money If it makes a profit maybe this revenue stream doesn't get reinvested into the team. Maybe they reinvest any profit from the hotel into the stadium and surrounding areas / commercial

Probably just no been done yet, might be for when all this gets done.

The Barca museum/tour and superstore is different class, would be good to see something similar with our one where you just make your way around on your own then exit into the Superstore which has a cafe joined onto it.

Screens and ticket machines outside for you to just buy the tickets yourself.

I just feel it's all moving to fast and it scares me to think we're this will go , I already feel were to far ahead of the rest and may never be caught , and that's not a good thing for Scottish football ,but a * great thing for us Timmy's :57:

Don't want to rain in the parade because I think its a great idea however if they charge 49£ to watch us and a new club, once this hotel is up and running, expect to pay £150+ on nights when them games and European nights are on.
