Dad burst into tears after my Old Firm glory day | The Sun |Home Scotland|Scottish Sport|SPL

TEARS rolling down his face.

An emotional Farid Kayal stood crying on the Celtic Park sidelines.
And as he embraced his boy Beram it was the moment the proud father knew his son was a sensational Celtic success.
Kayal, 22, has become a hero in the Hoops since his £1.2million move from Maccabi Haifa last summer.
But the Israel midfielder insists it's his dad he'll always be indebted to - with the pair hugging tightly at the pitchside at Parkhead after the SPL win over Rangers.
Kayal said: "My father and my brother were at the game.
"They are in Scotland to visit me and came to Celtic Park.
"They were both very surprised at what it was like.
"After the game I met my father and he was very emotional. I gave him a cuddle and he started crying.
"It was a very special moment, for him and for me.
"He came to Scotland for the first game we had with Rangers but I was injured and did not play.
"But he came back for this game and was very happy.
"This is the man who took me to training when I was 12.
"We lived far away from Maccabi Haifa's training ground and we had to drive for one hour and 30 minutes to get there and then one hour and 30 minutes to get home again.
"He did that every day until I was 15 years old.
"That's when I moved to the Haifa Academy but after one month I had to go home again.
"I wanted my mother and my father too much so went back.
"It was only when I turned 17 and started playing for the first team I left home and lived alone.
"By my father has always been a great support to me.
"That's why it was emotional for him after the game on Sunday. He was the happiest man when I signed for Celtic and this game showed him I was doing well.
"We used to watch Celtic together when Eyal Berkovic was here so it's very special."
Kayal is a special player.
He's still young and inexperienced but what he lacks in years he makes up for in determination.
He has a football brain in his head and natural ability in his feet.
Against Rangers pair Kyle Bartley and Maurice Edu on Sunday Kayal was awesome as he controlled the game from the middle of the park.
By the time the dust had settled, and he was able to sit back and take it all in, Kayal knew it was a day to remember.
He added: "It was a good game for us. It was fantastic to wake up the next morning and realise we had won a big game like that.
"It's just great for everyone at the club as well as the fans.
"I came into the training ground on Monday morning with a huge smile on my face.
"On Sunday night I lay in bed and thought; 'wow, that was so unbelievable'.
"The atmosphere at the game was just fantastic.

"That was my first game at Celtic Park against Rangers and it was really amazing. I have played in derbies before and in the Champions League with Maccabi Haifa but it's not the same. I was surprised."
Rangers probably didn't know what to make of it either.
Manager Walter Smith has worked wonders throughout his second stint in charge at Ibrox.
But he had the look of a man who fears the worst as he picked through the bones of the heavy defeat.
Celtic simply looked far better in every department with Kayal insisting Neil Lennon's squad are bursting with belief.
He added: "I never step onto the pitch and think Celtic are going to lose. I always believe we will win.
"This club has so many talented players. But not only that, every player really believes we are going to win every game.
"Rangers are a good team as well. But our manager has given us confidence and we always do the best we can.
"If someone in the team does not have that belief then I will help him. We are together and push each other to win." The worry for Rangers supporters now is that Celtic could run away with the league title.
They were that good on Sunday it's hard to see which SPL side is capable of taking points from them.
Kayal, however, is quick to dismiss the idea that the Hoops could go unbeaten between now and the end of the season.
He added: "It is too early to say whether we can win every game but we will try to do that.
"All my focus, and the other players' focus, is just to win the next game we play. We are not looking ahead to the next three, four or five weeks. We give respect to the other teams."
The rest could soon be left without a prayer.
However, that's something Kayal will NEVER be without, with the devout Muslim looking to the heavens for inspiration before every match.
He added: "I have done that all my career. I say thanks to *.
"I am Muslim and I say words from the Koran. It takes me 50 seconds but on Sunday the game started before I had finished!"

Anyone see how him and diouf got booked, that was ridiculous, you can tell hes loving wearing the hoops and im loving watching him, him and ledley have got that bite, such a difference from october and him and commons were the main causes of that

Kayal's return from injury has been crucial to our recent success. It's been years since we've had a midfielder who will take no crap from the ankle brakers masquerading as footballers in the SPL. The whole midfield work for each other and are prepared to stand together against the Hun and Diet Hun cloggers whose only game plan is to kick us off the park. Here's hoping that Kayal and the whole team keep it up and give us a new generation of heroes to sing about.

Great read. Kayal has become our most valuable player. I do not mean would command the biggest transfer fee though this is debatable but the one player we can least do without even with our abundance of talent in midfield.
