Why have the trial it was all a show, that was the only outcome.

wow, am I the only one who thought that showing the whole trial live was extremely unethical? and as far as I know, didn't Jacko take the drugs despite being told not to by the dr?

can't help but feel this has been a "showbiz" trial looking to garner as much publicity and filthy lucre as possible

Feel sorry for Murray, he's simply guilty of a corrupt medical system where the rich can get what they want.....

Find it hard to see how they can prove him to be guilty, Jackson could have easily been self-administering drugs without anyone's knowledge.

He was part of the corrupt medical system though so don't feel too sorry for him. Made hundreds of thousands off Jacko and was too busy texting his birds to care for him.

to be fair, that medical system is built upon doctor's prescribing as much as they possibly can, thats how they make their money after all

the american medical system truly frightens me, if you're poor and have no insurance you get * all treatment; at least the NHS is still largely free..........though not if cameron and co have their way! :47:

I agree but the fact he will be jailed for merely being a part of a hugely corrupt system seems unfair to me.

See above for the first part. Agree with the 2nd bit, it's absolutely frightening - yet they view the NHS as if we're the idiots!

Televised trials in the US are nothing new. Only ever see the big boys when it's on the TV and they are usually looking for a career in politics.

    Doesn't make it right though.

As you point out, it pretty much becomes a platform for vain, egotistical lawyers after their 15 minutes of fame.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing the various court cases Rangers have at the moment on tv! :84:
