This is what I wrote.....

The bbc stated that their was sectarian singing by Celtic fans at the Scottish Cup Final, i think you will find that the 2 songs in question were "Boys of the Old Brigade" and "Soldiers Song". These songs have no religious prejudice they are celibrating historical facts similar to "* save the Queen" and "Oh Flower of Scotland" .
I would like to point out the definition of the word
"Sectarianism"
Sectarianism is bigotry, discrimination or hatred arising from attaching importance to perceived differences between subdivisions within a group, such as between different denominations of a religion or factions of a political movement.

No where in these songs is there any discrimination or hatred towards any different denominations, religion or political group.

I will definately be sending an e-mail and it will be the first time I have ever sent a complaint. They should issue an apology on national television for slandering us and blatantly lying in front of an audience of thousands.

The only thing i would say here is this highlights that they are drawing attention to pro ira songs and ive said it before dont be kidded the sfa/uefa w/e will be lobbied about these by rangers to even the score and it could become a problem in the future

Those songs have been sung in matches that the BBC have covered plenty of times. Why bring it up now?

we shouldn't sing boys of the old brigade at matches in my opinion. Anything to do with the IRA can get to *. It would be tragic for celtic to be punished for secretarianism.
