The fans who turned out for the semis should have been given vouchers to do a draw for tickets imo. There might have been better attendances at both fixtures.

Yip, anyone who went to the semi should be at least given first priority for the final.

Obviously that isn't possible because a large chunk of the stadium will now go to sponsors and the like for a derby showcase which in all honesty is a * state of affairs.

there was me last night getting a ticket to see the semi and i enjoyed it very much, but hit home later that ill not be getting a cup final ticket as im not a season ticket holder so cant get into any ballot. i have never been to a cup final before and it * me off. i and 16,000 other tims froze our balls off for 2 and a half hours watching that.and to me we should get a ticket for the final. when u think about it. a lot of ppl were sitting cosy on there big armchairs watching it on tv and they will be the ones that will get a ticket for the final. gets to me. i might also add i watch celtic a lot but cant get a season ticket as i do shifts at work and would miss a lot of games. :84:

This is how it feels to be Celtic
I don't go to many games these days but I will be at the final.
I don't feel guilty as I live 1.800 miles away from Glasgow and I'm surrounded by water. I have stood in the colds of the old Pittodrie and suffered the bile and abuse as I stood in Morden in the past. I have watched Celtic home and away for 40 odd years now and been a fan all my life.
I don't think the fact that I now find it hard to afford to go week in week out now makes me any less deserving of a ticket.
I hope all that want tickets get them and I understand that there is a lot of people who live close enough to Celtic Park, but don't go every game.
Everyone has their own reasons. Some good, some bad. All I'm saying is don't begrudge a seasoned supporter who has ploughed a fortune of his earnings into the club the chance to see his team win more trophies.

I was there last night and hoping to get a ticket for the final. The one thing I hate though is all the suits and businessmen that get tickets for the big games. * me right off. Where are they on the cold wednesday nights against Inverness ? :31:

A little bit of a more extreme examble but a few years back (2005 I think) I went to watch 3 stages of the Scottish cup, last 16, quater final and then semi final against Hearts at Hampden.

Couldn't believe my luck when I found it impossible to get a ticket for the final which was held in the same half empty Hampden as the semi final.

I think that they give the tickets to supporters who have attended earlier rounds first. So the season ticket holders that have went to the earlier rounds will be in the ballott for a ticket. Then the ones that went last nite will join them. I think thats the only fair way to do it.

I know that there non season book holders there last nite that feel they should have a shout for the final, but that wouldnt be fair. There are guys that plough hundreds, some thousands, into seeing Celtic season after season. I work shifts too and have been to two league games all season. I will also miss the final. But jsut as an example, I still buy my ticket and just suck it up when I cant go.

I couldnt agree more about the suits that go and some "so called fans"that even sit around me that only go to the huns matches, cup finals or CL games and are nowhere to be seen when we're playing the likes of st mirren on a cold midweek night,i know people on here have already said they cant get to many games and i totally understand that.what im getting at is the people who buy season tickets and dont use them stopping other fans who would go week in week out getting a chance to go to a cup final etc.
I wasnt there last night simply cause i couldnt afford it,but ive been to every other game we've played but i do think the fans there last night should get a ticket to the final.i will try my hardest to get a ticket for the final but i think it will be difficult to get one.

The people who go every week and take up their allocation home and away will get a ticket for the final. . .Contrary to popular beleif, we dont have 20,00 people banging the door down for a ticket for Fir Park, Tannadice, Rugby park etc. . .

I take my ticket for every away game, although I dont always go, and I'm sometimes out of pocket for the ticket money.

I didnt go the the Semi Final, but I will be at the final, so i dont think its a easy as sayin whoever was at the semi should be at the final.
