He looked good when he had that little run in the team in 2008 (I think it was) so I think he would've came good eventually

Yes, he has scored some crackers. One against the Hun at St Johnstone, filled in as an emergency striker for ourselves and outscored JVoH in the league despite only playing 12 league games.

Would much rather have kept big Sheridan than buy Murphy.

Maybe, though I agree with the consensus that we should have kept him rather than shell out any money for Murphy :56:

He would be in and about the squad just now for sure if he was still here. Maybe, need a bit height up-top. Not sure a long-term mainstay player though

I'm completely in favour of the youth players getting more of a chance, but wasn't really a fan of his. He was slower than Hesselink at the time, but 10 years younger. Think he could become a decent player, but maybe just not really good enough to be a major player for Celtic.

Boy clearly had some talent! Had a decent scoring record for ourselves and St Johnstone.

Could also play on the left, like a young decent version of Murphy. That could also score goals.

I voted yes but I think that with us,no. However when he played at St Johnstone he was very promising. I think it was the right thing for us and for him to move on and good luck to him.

    He was a clumsy carthorse.

Murphy has looked slow and cumbersome at times but at least he has proven ability.
