How many games has he played for us as opposed to being out injured. Must be 50/50 at least.

I like him as a player but he is unreliable in terms of availability.

So basically he is done for the season at this point. That is a big blow as when he and Ajer are clearly our best centre back pairing. I really feared for the zombies game when he was carted off against Dundee United knowing how dodgy we have been at the back for large parts of the season without him in there with Ajer and as well as Biton had played until the hour mark facts are his catastrophic mistake costs us the game.

Only crumb of comfort is with the transfer window open, we should be able to bring in a couple of center halfs.

In hindsight he should have just let that ball cross the line and give up the clean sheet

Get well soon big man :shamrock:

Absolutely none of the blame lies at his feet. He should be absolutely livid at the club for taking him out to Dubai, while injured, during the middle of a pandemic.

Livid about going to Dubai? I'm sure he knew it was a bad injury and wanted to go and get a bit of Sun.

I still think Celctic have no excuse as to why Celtic were in Dubai, no matter if it's cleared by government or not. Julien was there as part of the squad for team bonding, think that's pretty obvious.

I think Drogba was related to Tebily if that helps.

I think everyone is focusing on 'why was he even there?' and I understand why but that's not where the focus should be.

Him getting covid and him being there are two different issues for me. The bigger issue is 'why were we there?'

It was to maintain [Jullien]’s treatment with the backroom staff, he went over there so we can get him back as fast as we can,” Strachan said.

Guys out for four months, how is two long haul flights in the space of 5 days, with a day by the pool meant to help his injury in any way?

Are we that * cheap we don't have more than one medical staff (who would have went)?
Did we honestly leave no medical staff in Glasgow at all with the reserves or youth teams?
Has all internet communication - you know things like zoom - ceased to exist that could have helped him while he stayed here?

Absolutely full of * * this club.
Can't even hold their hands up and admit ok hindsight it was a stupid decision.
Take some responsibility for * sake and stop trying to con the support.

He (and others) were taken for the sake of the holiday away, no other reason.

It does however also highlight how * poor and thin our backroom staff is, if we seemingly had no other medical staff at all left in Glasgow
