Read in an other post bout Celtic not having Caldwell & Loovens for the Aberdeen game so thought I would make a new Thread..

Stephen McManus, Milan Misun & John Kennedy are all injured. Gary Caldwell & Glenn Loovens are suspended, So that only leaves 1 recognized Centre Half, that being Darren O'Dea.

So out of the young Centre backs you have Latvian Antons Kurakins, Matty Hughes, Jason Marr & Danny Lafferty, Unless Mowbray would slip maybe Hinkel in at Centre half & play Caddis at full back or Naylor in at Cenre half hmm.. Or a midfielder? N'Guemo or maybe Flood? Dont know if anyone else could do it..

Gravy! Just what we need to start the season, a shortage of Cenre Halfs..

more likely to put a midfielder in than a youngster imo

Probably one of the fullbacks, aye. Bit of a crisis.

I'm sure he'll have it in mind for the Man City game and experiment accordingly.

Surely it should be spelt - 'Centre Halves'.

Wrong use of the dash, but there we are.

    Change Tactics Maybe?

Maybe play 3-5-2 or 3-4-3, I mean Aberdeen have just been hit 8-1 on agg from that Czech side, so there not gonna be that confident are they? So if we go for an attacking line up could get a few goals, Just have N'Guemo sitting in front of the 3 for extra protection..

I think there should have been a semi-colon after 'dash' to emphasise the pause, rather than a comma, but there we are.

Id rather have a young natural centre back on the park than someone playing out of position. Could always try one of them out against City, if they handle that we can surely deal with Aberdeen. Playing someone whos not a natural at THAT position can be deadly as Aberdeen have quickly found out.

I think there should have been an 'exclamation mark (!)' rather than a full stop after 'wrong' to emphasise the point, but there we are.

    Who nose?

Anyway back to the centre halves. I suspect he'll try Fox or Hinkel in at centre half and replace either with Naylor or Caddis.

Caddis is much too small to be even thought of being tried there.

I dont know if that Josh Thompson has even signed for Celtic yet, nothing has been said bout it anyway..

Was he not on trial with another Club anyway? & We had to wait & see how he got on there before we could go for him? Sure I read that somewhere hmm...
