    Celtic welcome Ki Sung Yueng

    Ki Sung Yueng, has agreed a contract for up to four years with the club and will join Celtic on January 1 2010.

    He was granted the required work permit on Friday & is expected to join up with the squad towards the end of December.

    Great news :icon_mrgreen: Really excited about this :50: Very confident he will deliver. What i've seen of him or South Korea I think he'll suit the SPL.

    Yeah, I remember Naka needed a lot of hard work and application to modify his game for our league - which, of course, he pulled off with some aplomb.

    But I think Ki's natural game is going to need less tweaking to fit in here. Feel we could have a winner on our hands. :50:

    Whats the deal with the ''up to 4 years deal''. Will that be a 3 year contract with the option of a 4th?

    Seems they STILL can't spell his name correctly!

    Anyway, Lee Chung-Yong has been really good for Bolton in the EPL, so I have high hopes for Ki Sung-Yong. One thing I will say is that I will be furious if he's left on the bench or to "develop".

    Lee is 21 and playing week in week out for Bolton at a higher standard of football. There are no excuses. Ki should be playing week in week out for us too.

    Wikipedia has had him as Ki Sung-Yong for as long as I remember and in Football Manager he's always been Ki Sung-Yong.

    Guess we'll have to wait and see. :31:

    He's called Ki Sung Yueng on Pro Evo, just thought I would throw that one in :rolleyes:
