    We bossed the first half, they bossed the second half.

    We need a LB, no other defensive positions. Caldwell, McManus and Hinkel are doing fine. Just last week we kept an away clean sheet against the team who were the top scorers in the league.

    I've not read any after match thoughts in this thread, but Boruc and McManus take the blame from me today.

    Goal number one...

    McManus once again flying into tackles on the edge of the box, giving away poor free kicks.

    Boruc once again poorly positioned for the free kick.

    Goal number two...

    McManus standing like a bus stop, allowing the guy to flick the header on.

    Boruc too slow off his line.

    Basic defending out the window.

    scott brown was brilliant today but we were bad at the back . the decision to bring caddis on was bad and mcdonald should of came off for jvoh instead of samaras.
    if aiden mcgeady would of played or even came on as a sub then celtic would of won the game at the very death but wgs didnt even put him on the bench.
    sammy is starting to get back to form and all our midfeild is coming together and we are just about back to full strength.
    anyway - 8 points clear . happy days

    No excuses for this today 2-0 and we shot ourselfs in the foot, why he continues to player Naylor is beyond me he just ain't good enough i hope we get this LB position sorted plus out of all the teams in the spl Dundee are the one on form.

    Some Celtic fans need to have a long, hard look at themselves.

    You'll realise when you read the facts that Dundee United and Craig Levein are both quality, especially in this league. They've yet to be beat by either us or Rangers.

    At half time he switched to a 4-3-2-1 formation and it snookered us altogether. The sustained pressure they were able to place on us was more than anything even Rangers had put us under at their own ground. With that being said barring 2 goalkeeping mistakes we'd have won, nothing to do with * players, tactics or anything else.

    So wee should just go out an get levein to manage us then??? he seems to be more tactically aware than wgs !!! 2 goal keeping mistakes would have been prevented if for the first 1>>>> mccmanus did not give the free kick away and for the second, better possitioning and better defending would have stopped them getting the shot on goal in the first place.

    First post the hit the nail on the head. We were out manouvered tactically which there is no excuse for. I hate singling anyone ou but Naylor was shocking, really, truly shocking. An excuse for a professional footballer if ever there was one. Boruc was certainly at fault for the free kick, McManus easily brushed aside for the second.

    The most worrying thing was we were 2-0 up after an hour and looking okay then the wheels came off. Not a good message to be sending across thr city....they'll take a lot from this the same way we did last season!

    In the next few SPL games the dark side play Dundee Utd and Aberdeen, so I'm not too worried about the points we dropped today. It was a bad result for Rangers at the end of the day with Utd gaining a point on them:icon_mrgreen:

    The free kick, the guy had the entire right hand side of the goals to aim for. That isn't the first time he has done that, it was exactly the same for Charlie's free kick against us.

    The second went right through his hands, that is simply pish to be blunt.

    I love Artur Boruc, so does every other Celtic fan and on his day he is genuine world class but we cannot legislate for these mistakes every other week and that is what it is becoming. Maybe if he wasn't 'The Holy Goalie' then the uproar would be at him rather than the manager.

    In fairness we can, beating Rangers at Ibrox has afforded us that luxury.

    Dundee United are a good side, they outplayed us second half and by a fair bit as well.
