Good performance. Great debut for Kayal with Juarez impressing again. Also Cha and Forrest did well when he came on.

Can't underestimate them in the second leg though.

Can't complain, would have preferred for us to get less bookings and one or two of them to get booked- and for us to have got another goal for our possession but you ttake it considering where we were at 'before' compared to now. Took us a little while to get going with them looking sharp but they defo tired as the game went on for sure.

    motm Kayal

Very encouraging indeed, hard to fault anyone really, but Kayal, the big Swede and Brown deserve special mentions for me.

Have to say though, Utrecht really were rotten, it was like a routine SPL win, that would be my only note of caution.

    Well played Bhoys :50:

Very happy with that performance. Great energy, hard work and brilliant closing down is what allowed us to dominate this game.

You would think Majstorovic was our captain the way he played and commanded the team, congratulated them at the end nevermind a brand new signing on his debut

Good performance, was very pleased with Big Maj and Kayal's debut. Also thought Juarez played well and Brown had a good game as well. Plenty of positives to take from it.

hopefully the new left back can slot in for st mirren but ledley use of the ball was a lesson to Mulgrew today. Kayal looked quick and aggressive, good use of the ball and quick feet.

Very impressed with Kayal and Majstorovic, the big guy did what he had to do and kept it simple. Decent 1st half performance. Things are starting to look good. Hail Hail.

Good stuff! Worth mentioning that Ledley played very well out of position.

Very happy with that put this tie is FAR from over, I am taking nothing for granted but that display indicates we could go from strength to strength, kept the ball on the deck and actually played football instead of the usual long ball routine.

What were the goals like, I was coming back from the lakes so I missed 1st half completely

Very happy, it was an exemplary performance. The defensive part really amazes me. Utrecht didn't have a real chance in the 2. half. Brown's violent surges from the defensive block congested the space Utrecht were playing in, together with other players, he neutered their attacks. Majstorović had several masterclass interventions, correcting other people's *-ups. Ledley is much more stable at LB than Mulgrew. Samaras-one of his better games here, got a bit tired near the end of the game, though.
    MOTM for me:Kayal or Brown.
