Butcher's first game, we've just put a lot into a midweek match - has draw written all over it.

Hartley, Robson and Samaras to start to freshen things up a bit.

As I am travelling to Inverness on saturday, I will be suitably trousered by the time kick off arrives.

ICT are poor, I really dont envisage any problems up there.

New managers make a huge difference early on.

I think we'll win and can see it being a 3-0 or maybe more.........

that can be the case I agree. I think though, if Celtic turn up it should be three points.

    Youl never walk alone.

I would agree with you but i normally get slaughtered by certain people on here for being negative.

Inverness always cause us problems. 3 - 2 last season, nearly knocked us out of the Scottish Cup, 2 - 1 this season, 1 - 0 this season and 2 - 1 at home last season.

We should have the quality to see off ICT reasonably comfortably. Hopefully we can put Butcher in his place.

The gulf in class is usually too much though.

If Aldershot get a new manager, they aren't gonna give any of the EPL clubs a challenge, are they?

    2-0 Celtic

    Boruc

    Hinkel..Caldwell..Loovens..Naylor

    Nakamura..Brown..Crosas..McGeady

    Jan..McDonald

They might be tired, but it's our best available XI and we need to win.

If they hadn't changed manager I'd say it'd be a walk in the park but teams always try a lot harder when a new manager comes in. Still think we'll win though, probably 2-1.

I think we've got to start with the team who finished the semi final unless of injury of course. McGeady and VoH were very poor. Loovens maybe deserves a run or I would bring McManus back.

mcgeady was only as bad as the pitch, if inverness pitch is good id put him on otherwise bring him on as a sub and start robson

Reason I'd play that team is I think Naka and Crosas will be pretty knackered after 120 minutes on wednesday, especially Crosas recently coming back from injury. If needed though they may be brought off the bench.
Sammy looked pretty decent when he came on! At least he was doing the basics correctly, so he might nick in ahead of Jan.

I would bite your hand off for a 1-0 win. Always tough going up there and with a new manager it will give ICT a huge lift

Especially with it being Butcher. I'm the same mate, i'd take any sort of win. I'll go for 2-0 with skippy and big jan the man scoring them :50:
