I was at the St Mirren Game, First game of the season. i was gutted at the attendance only bein 47000.

do u think, considering our hatred for the wee huns, and the fact that it's better opposition. Does Anyone think there'll be more than 55 or is that too much to ask for these days at parkhead?

47,000 is a good crowd considering everything, and it'll probaly be higher against those smelly diet hun bas****s

Too much to ask imo! Fans only come out in their numbers for old firm games and champions league games!

    47000 is good considering everything?

We had one bad season, first home game last season we had 58000

ive always thought of our fans being the best in the world

but if we lose 11000 in a season then it makes me thiink twice

dont get me wrong the away support is brilliant

I honestly didn't know that last years 1st home game was that many to be honest im impressed at that but you can't argue that 47,000 is a bad number

Too many fairweather supporters these days. The "Can pay, won't pay" brigade do my head in.

considering the history of our support, the size of our club, the size of our fan base, the "loyalty" of our fans, then i can argue that is a bad number mate

I think it will be between 45,000- 50,000. That will be a good crowd for these days.

    Hope to see

FORSTER, CHA, MAJ, JOS, IZZY, JUAREZ, BROWN, KAYAL, LEDLEY, MALONEY, STOKES.

Where was the "loyalty" through the 90's? cmon losing the league twice to a rangers team on their knees I think for our first league game it was a good attendance plus things will pick up (hopefully) as the season progresses

Couldn't make the last 2 games coz of work. I WILL be at this game an I hope that there will be at least 50k there.
I can understand the circumstances these days as to why there isn't big attendances anymore, but it shouldn't be too much to ask that 50,000 show up to Celtic park each week, especially to support what should be a very good game since we have 2 weeks to prepare for it.

I'll go 3-1 win for Celtic

Are people forgetting unemployment levels at the moment, crowds at Celtic park are pretty reasonable. 3 of my mates lost their job in last 4mths and the season tickets had 2 go. As another person mentioned Man U have only sold 51k season tickets, people are skint.

A lot of clubs in the EPL don't get anywhere near 40-50,000, i'm sure it will be a healthy crowd for the hearts game, hopefully the return of hooper paired with stokes will see us getting the 3 points..............:shamrock:

Puts it in perspecitve. Man U, biggest fan base in Britain/World, 75-80K seater stadium. On that basis we are doing not too bad eh
