I think Rodgers will want to prove a point after drawing with them up there. I think Engels and Johnston will come back in but otherwise it will be similar to Sunday. I imagine there will be more changes for Raith on Saturday.

Cant believe people suggesting Jota should start, hes not up to speed so the best we can ask for is 25min at the end.
I would hope to start him v BM with Maeda suspended.

 

Aye brendan has said jota won't be starting anytime soon so best to build him up.

Could be * toxic if GB start, 100% lawwell get to * chants

 

I'd be tempted to start Kenny. Just to get him accustomed to first team football here, as he's going to need experience quickly.

 

If Idah is fit, he starts.
No way you can be dropping the lad on the back do his two games of doing okay and the end of the transfer window as it happened.

Can't be basically telling the guy he's out only first team striker, then dropping him as soon as the next game rolls around.

That said, I expect Kenny to be getting the amount of game/rotation time that Idah was getting for the last 6 months. So hopefully we see him at some stage in this game.

I know. But it's an awful situation to be in when our backup striker needs first team experience. I hope Brendan can find the right balance.

 

90 mins against Raith is aw the lad needs to get up to speed and take on Europe's best...

Although tbf, he has already played and done okay against Chelsea back in December there. Had a cracking effort just tipped round the post that led to Shamrocks goal.

Really hope we start on the front foot and score an early goal or two. There will still be a lot of angry supporters disappointed at the whole transfer * up and will let their feelings be known if we are struggling at all. I suppose any win will do but a good performance would help lighten the mood.
