Next game is at home with Aberdeen, will we have the same spark as we did at Dunfermline? It would be great if we could go and give them a good hammering aswell.
Would it be worth risking Marshall in goals to give Boruc a bit of a rest, no disrespect to the man but the blunders are starting to appear, maybe time to let Marshall shake off a few cobwebs.
I reckon we will be seeing a bit more of Wilson on the starting lineups, he has had a few good games, works well, even out of pos, hope he keeps up the good form.
What would your team be for the Dons visit to CP, which a sell out game.:50:

Borucs blunders are getting more and more noticeable. When crosses come in, I get visions of Douglas. Give Marshall a fair chance.
Always wanted to see Camara feature on the left with a differant right-back.
Put Naka in for Maloney to give the wee man a bit of a rest.

Good team Rosco, I would go with that. Boruc is ok dealing with shots straight at him but they come in from a cross he * them up too often, Till rate him as a good keeper but needs a rest imo.
Naka for Maloney, aye rest the wee man, scored a belter on Sunday, Hail Hail wee man.:50:

I would give Boruc a break, but I think the mistakes are down to confusion in the defence in front of him, not any fault on his part.

Is McGeady fit again? I'd like him to get a run out to balance the side.

Last I heard Mcgeady was out for up to 6-8 weeks, so I don't know if he'll make it for the Dons, would probably be on the bench.

I think Boruc's only problem is his eagerness bhoys and he will be great when he calms down a wee bit. Super keeper

Boruc's problem is coming for balls he has no chance of getting. He has big defenders in front of him, let them clear the ball ffs.Back four has a settled look now, why change it to bring back Camara. Telfer does OK and won't let you down.

Giving him a break may do them both a favour as Marshall conciders his future at Celtic after sitting on bench for most of the season.
What ever GS does I hope it benifits the club when the Dons make their visit.

Keane in the middle with Petrov. 1 goal against Dunfermline doesn't warrant a place in the team for Lennon. If GS decides he can't leave out Lennon then go with him rather than the 2 of them in CM.

Celtic should be starting to build their team around Keane not playing 2 similar type players because GS doesn't have the swingers to make the right decision.

We could have done without the 2 week break as it would have been nice to keep the momentuim going. I think it will be a exciting match as Aberdeen are in good form - 3 wins in the last 3 games and Jamie Smith is in good form.

Maloney would probably start I think either him or Hartson need to be rested

I think WGS may stick to a similar lineup from Dunfermline. Aberdeen are a physical team and having Lennon and Keane in the centre gives Petrov and Maloney the confidence to get forward more without having to worry about being out of position should Aberdeen break.

In saying that, I have a feeling that GS is a firm fav of Naka, and will want to play him against Aberdeen. My money is on Keane being dropped again. Zuraw and BBj in attack again and same back four.

GS cannot drop the Celtic captain. I am a firm supporter of Lennon and think people should quit calling for him to be dropped. Lennon is Celtic through and through and is our Captain....Hail Hail Neil Lennon....:celt_2:

i agree that give boruc a break would be a good idea ( to get some freshness ), but the question is, if we can afford for any changes in this position when defence isn't strong enough???cheers and behalf yourself on the weekend bhoys

I think that Nakamura will be back to starting line-up after rested. Maybe we will play three defenders or maybe GS will drop Maloney, Keane or Lennon...

    Boruc

    Caddis - Balde - McManus - Wilson

    Petrov - Keane - Nakamura - Maloney

    Hartson - Żurawski

    3-0 :50: Żurawski x2 and Petrov:50:
