    What is the top 6 in England? Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United, Southampton, Spurs? It's something like that, anyway.

    The majority of those sides could field a second XI that's arguably as strong as, maybe stronger, than our first XI.

    I think we could compete and I think we wouldn't get relegated but we should be getting pumped off every team because of the gulf in finances. We wouldn't though (with this current team).

    Hard to judge.. EPL not as strong as they think but miles better than SPL

    Inter are a poor side but still did enough to beat us.

    We don't have the firepower and none of our strikers are good enough to score consistently in that league.

    Efe and Izzy would get roasted every week too.

    A fit Lustig or Mathews would hold their own. The rest all good enough but we're a few players short, imo.

    On current form I would say we are mid table or lower mid. I would favour our chances against the current Newcastle team.

    We are sort of clumsy when we attack. Players not quite finding each other. A top 6 PL club look a lot smoother and more efficient.

    Maybe next season though if we get to keep most of our team and keep improving :celt_2:

    Considering we have two strikers who aren't scoring tons in the spl should tell you enough

    This. We don't have the firepower. Burnley have Ings, Leicester have Kramaric, QPR have Austin and Villa have Benteke yet are all scraping away.

    I also have serious doubts about our depth. Imagine Stokes and Forrest having to start 15/20 games.

    could say the same about players in our team gordon johansen lustig brown van dijk could all play in those sides outside the top six

    i accept english league has money and class player but its over hyped too can tell that the posters who are pessimistic in this dicussion are the ones that cream theirself over epl and basically buy all their teams tops
