    The Scottish superpower Celtic FC is targeting Dutch internationalist Patrick Kluivert. Patrick Kluivert played ball at many elite sides including AC Milan, FC Barcelona, Ajax, Newcastle, Valencia and most recently PSV Eindhoven. PSV Eindhoven released the 31 year old striker this summer. Kluviert recently turned down a trial offer with the English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday. It is believed he still wants to offer his services at a club that competes in European Competition and thats one of the many things Celtic will offer him if he chooses to accept coming to Scotland. In other Celtic news, defender Stephen McManus has agreed to a new contract for four years and he was named Captain after ex-Captain Neil Lennon left for Nottingham Forest.

    Lol, didn't Sheffield United put in a bid for him a couple of weeks ago? like he would go to a championship side, that would be a major step down for him, celtic sounds about right and i think he would do well, i know he's getting on a bit but he could still do a job imo!

    nope defo don't want him he can't even score for psv mcdonald, killen and even zurawski are better than him and we are looking to get rid of zurawski.

    I don't want celtic to sign another striker becuase I feel we have good strikers at the club already, Mcdonald, Killen, Jvoh and Miller should be our strikforce, I regard Riordan as a winger.
