    Hakim Ziyech has been scouted by a host of European clubs, De Telegraaf reports.

    Celtic, Leicester and Swansea City are the British names who are keen on the FC Twente star, alongside the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Anderlecht, AC Miland and Schalke.

    The 22-year-old midfielder has been in exceptional form this season, and his performances have been bringing the attention of a number of scouts.

    I have seen a lot of talk on twitter aabout him needing to be rescued, but I've never heard of him.

    If the teams on that list are looking at him then he's possibly out of our reach, plus we're well stocked with attacking midfield types right now.

    Destined for the Premiership IMO. Before electing for Morocco he was in Dutch squads.

    He's arguably the most in form player in Holland at the minute and, admittedly I've seen little of him, but he has looked class any time I have watched Twente.

    I've mentioned him in the player suggestion thread before, this is the best player in the Dutch league and he wants to leave. This would be an unreal signing and so unreal that I really can't see it happening, looking at the fact that Napoli made a €25 million bid on Bazoer (a lesser Ajax player but maybe more potential). He's way out of our price range.

    Vinnie should know more as he's from there.

    Edit: I can confirm that we had scouts looking at him last match.

    He's class.

    A mile ahead of any of our current attacking mids, would walk into our team. Can never see this happening.

    We should have made a move before he left Heerenveen, this is when we need to pick this kind of players up. Moving to Twente and improving with a bigger side puts him further and further out of our reach.

    Amazing player. He literally is FC Twente on his own this season. Without him, I don't know if they would have any points at all:smiley-laughing002:

    Don't think we have a chance of getting him. Big clubs are chasing him and Twente are looking for at least 8 million euros.

    Which is around £6m then, bargain to be honest but you are right obviously, unless Lawell has been electrocuted by a toaster like Tam in Still game there's zero chance of us splashing that.

    Belgian newspaper mentionned him as a potential target for Anderlecht. Twente was looking for 10M Euro's but as they need the money they could let him go for 6M (£4Million) + Neytinck (Dutch player from Anderlecht).
    If we want to pull off a deal I think we need to react quick !!
