Celtic FC vs Udinese FC

I've been here since kick off talking positively.

Well, as positive as you can be with Lennon as manager !!!!!

 

What we needed was someone who can close down and pressure the ball like we did in the first half, think McCourt would do that? This mythical "he can put the ball in his back-pocket and no-one can touch him" bullshit is really starting to get on my *.

 

I'm not faulting our efforts, we did well in the first half but Udinese were very poor in the first half. If they play at their full strength we would get beat as we were not playing at our best (although the first half was impressive). They are technically better than us, faster than us and experts at acting by being shot by a sniper.

 

You get these loonballs in all walks of life we're unlucky witht he size of our support there are many among us.

 

How can you say hooper played bad??? one of the best players on the field. Bangura was immense. Ki Wanyama Mulgrew and ledley(for 45 mins) Best players. * even Danny was great. Who said he fouled that player?? he brushed him aside. no player apart from samaras played bad tonight. Oh also Zaluska Was amazing apart from one cross he should have let go

Ok pen or no pen i think the team played well tonight for most of the game,granted they had a few first team players missing in the first half and that maybe made us look better than we would normally be.
In the 2nd half they brought on the missing first team players and they gave us more problems and it took us time to get to grips with the changes.
Only thing i think lenny should have done is with 10 or 5 mins to go bring on some midfield players and flood the area stop the flow to our back four.

 

We looked decent but not going to read too much into tonight they left out 8first team players . Italian press headline was us playing Udinese B team.

We looked okay but i felt we could and should have had them under more pressure .

Lennon got it wrong for me Hooper was blowing out his * around 70th min mark should have had him off .

Then you could see the last 10mins they had us on the ropes we did need a change and Lennon looked clueless once again sitting on the bench with * all ideas make a sub they * give you 3 for a reason.

 

* all. But he's a useless * so there's nothing new there.

When there's 10mins to go and we are 1-0 up I'd probably bring Samaras on before McCourt(which was your suggestion) though.

If we were 1-0 down with 10mins to go then yeah I'd agree with bringing McCourt on.

IMO Lenny should have brought paddy on around 65 mins, we were playing decent football but not creating chances, which is what he does.

 

best we have played in ages! there keeper was on fire! totally robbed nobodys fault but the refs...

 

Nothing bad to say about Lenny tonight except for him playing samaras , please Lenny just stop ! he has been here years and done relatively * all he wont start now ...
Apart from that the team done well , worked really hard and deserved the win but what can you do about the * idiots they put in charge ...
