    Catering at football stadiums

Hi guys, I am a design student and for my final year project I am looking to design a service to improve the fast food catering at sports stadia in the UK. For my initial research I have to find out if the majority of fans are actually as unhappy as I am with the current service, Celtic Park being a prime example imo and to analyse why the current system fails. If you could help me out I would be greatful.

So for the poll could you please answer the simple question are you satisfied with the current food service at sports grounds and post any addition comments relating to why you think it need improved or why you think its fine.

    Cheers, HH

They take the whole concept away from the term "fast food" by providing an annoyingly slow service.

Needs decent food and not cold burgers on stale buns and flat cola then pay over a fiver (i think) for the pleasure.

Poor quality of food (usually served either burnt or undercooked).
    Slow service.
Staff thicker than the poor quality meat in the generally tasteless pies.
    Fizzless juice.
    No alcohol.

    Good bovril though....

I laughed at this quote because its 100% true! haha, if the food courts in stadiums were to improve they would get so much more custom (although they get a fair amount of people as it is) but the major thing is its like once your in they have you by the balls either eat their overpriced * or do without and this is exactly what I do! I do without. Its the same with the vans outside the ground *, greasy, badly prepared, cheap ingredients sold at extortionate prices.

Most food at Celtic Park is below standard. Only ever get a cheeseburger these days. They are lovely.

Yes. I usually get either a pie or cheeseburger and it's fine. Don't get why people are so fussy. It's Celtic Park not the Ivy.

Celtic Park isn't the worst offender but food available in stadia worldwide is invariably over-priced, under-cooked (or simply poorly re-heated) and of course grotesquely unhealthy. I can't be the only one who finds the latter aspect to be the most worrying considering we're basically undermining the health of our own fans.

In which case they shouldn't be charging Ivy prices for sub-standard food.

To answer the OP and add a point I don't think has been made yet, they should have a greater choice of healthier and fresher options.

count yourself lucky you're a Celtic fan. I've been to stadiums all over England and I can tell you, the food isn't that bad at CP.

Load better than Anfield, Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford! Wembley also. Food was terrible and about £10 for a hot dog!
