It's annoying me that a minority of the Celtic support are constantly on Broonies back and don't realise the drive, leadership and determination brings to the team.

It seems a few of them have short memories, it was only a couple of years ago he was player of the year.

I would agree that his passing could improve and he could contribute with a few more goals but his workrate and attitude towards doing the ugly stuff that allows players like forrest and recently samaras the freedom to concentrate more on the attacking side of the game far outweight his faults.

We should back our captain and get behind him instead of slating the guy.:shamrock:

He has done nothing in a Celtic shirt.

We only won the title when he was out injured and came back from the dead to * it.

A good squad player but not an automatic starter for me.

His passing is minging. For me his main strength is breaking down attacks and generally just being a pain in the *. Don't rate him but can see sometimes he does good things.

Scott Brown for me brings something different to the team, something that nobody else can bring, the amount of grass he covers when he is playing is astonishing. He is more direct than either any of our other midfielders and he is our most experienced player on the pitch (besides big Maj).

His harrying of opponents rushes people into making bad passes and it worries the opposition. Looking back at the game at Ibrox this season where he played half fit and wasthe only player to have any pass marks (and a great assist for Hoopers goal) shows you how important he is.

Some people slate him, never done it for us etc. but he has won player of the year in a Celtic top and every year seems to get the plaudits of being his best season yet. Neil Lennon knows what he brings to the team, he brings the drive to win. Which is why we usually do win whenever he is on the pitch.

its a fair point but atm and imo our best partnership in the middle is kayal and wanyama. i just dont see any room for brown in the middle with those two on such good form. its a shame that wanyama has been booted to the defense.

I still think hes got a huge part to play in our squad and is a good player for us.

I just dont think he should be first name on the team sheet which Lennon seems to think he is.

Dont think on form players should be moved to accommodate a not yet match fit Scott Brown

I like Broony ............pace energy arrogance will to win & drive.

A few on here might not like this but * it I wiull say it anyway .......time for Forrest to spend time on the bench & for our Captain to take his place .

Forrest is a one trick pony kick and rush ......& * oot of every tackle ...everytime he looses the ball it's all hands in the air ...get * up son & get the baw back ffs

the lad is a major bottle merchant & is easily intimidated ...imo

    Broony everytime for me

That's only because he's returned from injury, i'm quite sure Lenny will have him back as a first team starter in no time.

He would have been straight back into the team if our other midfielders weren't doing so well. I think he deserves to be in the team, especially against the likes of the Huns. He knows how to make a difference when it comes to the scrappier matches.

When he is just coming back from injury or he is playing through an injury it's always his first touch and passing that suffers as he is a naturally fit guy. When he is on the pitch though, defensively he is like having two players there. He is literally everywhere, he tracks every runner. We have missed him while he was out, look at the Kilmarnock 3-3 match. I know 2 of they goals the midfield runner would have been under pressure from Broony.

The emergence of Samaras is what has Broony's place under threat in this team but I really don't think that will last, he has a fight on his hands just now to get back into the team but the lengths some people go to just whitewash our captains achievements in a Celtic top is insane.

So you want one of our best players to make way for a guy that can't pass the ball 10 yards ............:97:

That one trick pony is one of the main reasons we have won so many games this season and within touching distance of the Huns.

For me he's either a right midfielder or nothing at all. We've got 4 CM's that are way above his level, and Forrest has nailed down his place on the right so he should be nowhere near the starting line up.

Decent squad player but with McGeouch coming through as well he should really be sold in the summer. But he won't.

Forrest has been one of our top performers this season.

    As for your question

    Sylla, Agathe, Byrne, McLaughlin, Petta

do you need me to go on?
