Absolutely gutted and raging at the same time. If Rodgers had left at the end of the season I'd have been disappointed but he would've left with my best wishes. But to leave at such a crucial point in the season is quite frankly unforgivable. No true Celtic fan would even consider dropping the gig mid-season.

Martin O'Neill's wife had cancer but he stayed until the end. Wim Jansen fell out with Jock Brown and the board so many times yet he stayed until the end. Strachan has admitted he stayed a season longer than he would've liked but stuck it out until the end. Even when Ronny Deila was getting battered from pillar to post by the fans and media, he powered through.

I'm disgusted that at the first sight of an EPL club batting their eyelashes at him that Rodgers is dropping everything and going back down to England. Don't get me wrong, the man has brought me some great memories and the Invincible Treble and the 3-3 Man City game will live with me to my dying day. But the nature of his departure leaves a sour taste in the mouth and could easily tarnish his legacy if the league is somehow lost this season.

It also makes his attempts to get Boyata and Dembele to stay look hypocritical, we all sat here after deadline day and called Dembele a snake and a * for throwing Rodgers under the bus, but maybe he had a point. Boyata must be furious right now, after getting denied his big move - regardless of whether you agreed with his hissy fit - and yet the man who was desperate for him to stay has just turned round mid-season and done exactly what he prevented Boyata from doing!

As for Lenny coming back, I'm fine with him taking over until the end of the season. We need to batten down the hatches and if there's one man I'd trust to swoop in at Celtic's time of need it's Neil * Lennon.

we might actually score a few goals from a corner or set piece now and maybe on occassion play 2 upfront , the fannying about at the back also i was not a fan of but he will be missed for his domestic record hard to follow that it's 100% but 10inarow is the main thing anything else a bonus.

To think he made all those digs at dembele for daring to suggest Rodgers was trying to force him to Brighton telling him how big an opportunity it was, pretty sure he was trotting out the the I love celtic and would never say that line, who knows what * he's been spouting behind the scenes.

 

I doubt it mate. He doesn't seem like the sort of Guy who would care about a fans feelings towards him. But it means i don't need to see his face in my phone anymore.

 

It can't be normal to feel this much hate towards a successful Celtic manager, even our shittiest managers I have never felt hate for! I hate this * right now!
