Congerton has a lot to answer for, but Rodgers wasn't looking for ten million players.

Sinclair, ntcham, McGinn(he wanted), arzani(before city stepped in). Hardly ten million rated players and to be honest a club our size should have the bulk of the squad made up with 3-5million players.

If not, what's the point in taking out revenue from 52million a year to 102million.

IMO Leicester city fans are deluded in what their actual goals are for the club, their currently sitting where they should be sitting yet they sacked Puel. They also sacked a man who won them the league ffs! What is making a difference to them? sitting 8th instead of 12th? really doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. The one thing they do have over us is a decent amount of money but when you're in the prem teams like these have to spend their money wisely- good luck when your right hand man is Mr Congerton. Since his excuses in Europe was always about finances will he continue this theme in England ? 9 teams last season spent more than Leicester so I wouldn't expect them to be in top 9 going by Rodgers logic- remember he used it as an excuse against Anderlecht at home who spent 2m more than us lol

The main cause of this is the board not backing Rodgers to the level he wanted, all started with McGinn.

But no matter he should not be turning his back on the players and fans a day before a very hard away game then a big quarter final days away. That is unforgivable and shows he just talks absolute * all the time then going about respect and integrity then how he loves this club.

No chance Rodgers is a real tim, he's the managerial equivalent of Robbie Keane.

 

I think he won’t go. He’s only been given permission to speak to them, no guarantee he would actually speak to them.

Even if he did speak to them no guarantee he would want to go, mid table obscurity compared to trophies season after season, and why do you play or manage? To win things.

Can’t lambast him if he does speak to them, as at the end of the day like all of us he has bills to pay and if they offer him silly money we’d all do the same.
