Part of me thinks he done it on purpose to * the board off. But you’re right, there was no plan B, it was gutless.

Apart from Broony, KT and possibly Simunovic we have zero aggression and nastiness in our team. Our team can Defo be bullied and got at. Sinclair and Hendry are the worst two for it.

 

No to lose but to show the board our depth isn't too clever? I agree. It came across like that..

He didn't even make much of the kick or the Lustig stonewaller, which adds to your train of thought. Excuses..

The manager has to take the blame for some part for this current squad. He has brought in loads of average players. Everyone knew we needed a Centre half before another striker. Spend the 8 or 9 million on this position than on attacking players. Very poor recruitment

 

Wouldn’t surprise me he had a glance on this forum and had a laugh at all the bed wetters recently in disarray claiming he’s gone, he’s raging, he’s been in talks with other clubs down south. The man has spoken, and it’s great to hear him put all the nonsense to bed. He clearly loves it here, we have another 3 weeks to get some decent players in. Come end of the season we will be celebrating another league title for sure and with a bit of luck a treble treble. Big game for us on Tuesday, won’t be easy but nothing in Europe ever is. Our results in European qualifying have been great, he hasn’t let us down yet. Don’t expect Tuesday to be any different.

We've had 2 * results in a matter of day's and he isn't being delivered with his target's. If he was on here he'd probably be saying the same as the rest of us...wouldn't you Brendan

 

I’m only commenting on what I see, he just said he’s loving it here in that last interview. Didn’t look raging to me. He like us knows there is work to be done. Wouldn’t say that calls for people misquoting him and spinning his words for their own agenda

It’s no a job site.

 

I always think it takes certain things to happen for people to wake up and take notice. Last time it was losing to the Huns on penalties. This time it's a lull we're going thru with players who have been there done it and complacency kicks in. All it will take is a few signings to lift morale and things change really quickly. Do we trust the board to deliver? No but they better realise that we need a lift and if they don't and Rodgers feels he can't take us further then on their head be it.

 

Brendan has to get team back to playing with the same intensity as his first season. 4-2-3-1 formation is stale, we need to go to 3 at the back and play two up top.

Also if the board do back him in the transfer market over the next 3 weeks he has to get his signings bang on as Compper has been a complete failure, DDV was *, Gamboa looks decent bur BR doesn't rate him and Eboue & Hendry have been questionable so far. Thats 6 million spent on those players. Could have signed a decent RB and CB for that and we would be much better off.
