Read his book ..leave ? Never not unless things went pear shaped ..highly unlikely given the chasm..football can change though always uncertainty around the corner especially if doing well moussa etc..

I'd honestly be amazed if he left now.

Seeing him celebrate last week, assuming he was pointing to relatives in the crowd. Don't underestimate their influence.

He has unfinished business here. It's not happening.

Going by Rodgers’ latest press conferences and reading his book I would be amazed if he even has a slight thought about any other job. He’s got it made for him at Celtic, development of young players is a big draw for him and will know he’ll be giving a proper opportunity that he wouldn’t get at much other clubs.

Brendan Rodgers - Born and raised Celtic fan, Managing his boyhood club through an immensely successful period. European football every season, money to spend and a legacy to create. Top it off, history making Invincible, History making back to back trebles and history making 10 in a row to come. Avid studier of the game and other cultures and fluent in multiple languages.

Aye hold on he will give up all of that for a shot at mid table Arsenal, with no European football next season, tight budget restraints, and a league that will sack you after 6 months if you aren't the flavour of the month.

He will leave us after the ten, of course he will. But it won't be right now for Arsenal who will only offer him stress, pain, anguish and a pain in the * set of fans.

The Arsenal job will be there in 3 years if he wants it. Or so will a job in Spain or Italy. Which is where I see him actually going after the 10 here (or if he failed to get it), moving off to the continent where he can develop his style of football at a better culture and climate.

I can’t see him leaving him either.

I just hope he is backed in the summer. I really want to see him finally put his own stamp on the side. Bring in some quality players that he feels can walk straight into the side and help us go up another level, especially in Europe.

Definitely expect him to give Europe one more good go now. Wasn't sure around the turn of the year but he seems to be refreshed lately. Don't think pumping rangers did any harm.

Needs backing though. Hopefully this is a good bargaining tool for him in regards to funds.

I don't think Rodgers himself will be thinking of leaving.

However, we can't forget who are board is and how'd they see him like they see the profits that can be made on certain player sales.

Whether Rodgers wants to or not if Arsenal come in with a sizeable compo package then he may not have a choice.

But in all honestly I can't see it happening regardless, as right now there is going to be a selection of managers available they will go after as already stated by most on here long before they would consider the fan backlash of even considering Rodgers.

Just how much money do these people need?

I'm sure job satisfaction has to come into play after you have made X amount.

Not as if Desmond was out walking the dug to Aldi’s and got stopped by press. Anything that is put into the press is done so planned by PR and Desmond. Yeah the man that wants to sell the soul of the club to get into the EPL, am sure he’s not done it for personal gain.

Wouldn’t matter what they print since Rodgers just came out and said he’s not going anywhere and that’s the whole point, there was no need for Desmond to say anything or go near the press.

Totally agree mate, if Rodgers was a greedy money oriented guy could easily have landed a job at a stoke city, Leicester or Newcastle type team after coming 2nd in premiership for big bucks
    He’s proven he isn’t

The way it should be. He says he wants him here but if he doesn't want to be here he can leave.

    Wouldn't want anyone here unhappy.

Absolutely the correct way to handle the situation ........ We want Brendan to stay, but if he wants to go, we would never stand in anyone's way.

It's all about creating an environment where people want to stay, and I hope Brendan stays until 10IAR is completed at least.

    It’s a tough one tbh.

He ticks a lot of boxes for Arsenal, he is young but experienced at the same time, is more attack minded and always has an eye on youth players.

Is he an “exotic” enough name for them though? I can see him going if a genuine offer is made and he is given assurances about the kind of money and control he will have.

Would I begrudge him for it? Not at all, yes he is a Celtic supporter but this is his career also and it is a great opportunity for someone in his line of work.

It was always a bit of a coup us getting him as he still had a fair bit of pedigree down there and would have walked into any job outwith the top 4 no bother.

Don’t want him to go but would also like to see him do well at somewhere like that as he was pretty much shafted by Liverpool.

He's definitely going. Time to get on the phone to Owen Coyle.

They'll not offer him it. Fans vocally don't want him and he used to manage a rival, not happening. He's staying here for next season at the least.
