I should have maybe worded it as the board has no excuses to do that anymore with all that cash in the bank if you get what I mean.

Also we get beaten with that we will end up going down the zombie route if we spend a big if money for too long now and it' worked for loads of the fans but people are now waking up.

Larsson left because Barca came calling and it was the end of an era. MON never got backed after the Uefa cup final and it went to *.

Like you I've followed Celtic for a long time and seen us * it up time after time but we have not been in such a position with so much money in the bank and we clearly need to spend it.

This title run in will be inteesting and even more so in the summer when we need to recruit a * load of players.

We've had a horrendous amount of injuries and financially I don't think he's been fully backed, but there's no getting away from the bulk of the football served up that we are paying more and more for watching has been dire. We should be ripping apart most teams is Scotland and at times Europe has been an utter embarrassment. It's been dull to watch bar a handful of games domestically. He's still best man to sort it though, no doubts

What's the most worrying thing about this situation, is his stubbornness. He will most likely not change the tactical style he drilled into the team.

Alarm bells should have been effing ringing when we somehow managed to make a 5 nil lead look precarious when we were 4-1 down in Astana. We had over a week after CL qualification to spend money on a proper CB and we do nothing as usual. Buying a cup-tied CB in January was even more baffling.

We said at half-time everything was too sideways and backwards and that’s about bravery and courage to play.

    He forgot to mention slow..

Many have already noticed this from early in the season. If that is Brendan just noticing this is how we play then we have serious problems.

I reckon we have had 6 , at most, good games this season. *Insipid* is how I would say most of our performances have been this season.

Would like to point out that Broony, KT, Shooders seem to play for the jersey as opposed to a wage.

Big result on Sunday is needed, need to start playing our game in opponents half and stop * about.. possession stats don't win games.. goals are the only stats that count.

You seen last night and recently domestically that teams are happy for us to pass the ball around our defense. We lack penetration in the final 3rd. Hopefully this will improve now that Rogic is back and Roberts back soon.

Zenit at home was the best I have seen us in a long time. Our players set the bar for themselves in that game so not buying any excuses put forward this week.

Keeps trying to play Champions League-style football with SPL-level players and hasn't realised as yet that they aren't capable(with a few exceptions). Hasn't been shrewd or pragmatic enough against the stronger teams and hasn't got the team defensively schooled to even the most basic degree. Don't get me wrong he's done a good job overall and i like the guy but he must make some fundamental changes.

It's one thing having a footballing philosophy, but you also need a degree of realism, the calibre of player you have and the quality of the opposition have to be taken into account, this team dosen't have the mental strength, also failure to properly address our problems in defence will continue to cost us.

I would go back to the formation from last season if we replace lustig.
We went invincible last year using 4231 now we are powder puff offensively.

Hopefully now he will stop the unnecessary charges he’s made in games this season, pick players who are in form/haven’t shown that they don’t deserve to start and play them till the end of the season try and build some momentum and consistency because the treble is by no means a foregone conclusion.

I'm sure we've played well at home twice against hearts infact.

How come he has never got the same sort of performance as he got against Man City? That should have been the standard set, it seems they lack the mentality to do it consistently, probably because their constantly told they are doing well just to take part!

I think whoever plays in midfield has to be responsible for driving us forward. Take Broony out of that equation as I think we need him to stay in or near the centre to link everything or mop up as required.

If our front players are not running and moving then it results in the slow build up and sideways passing.

Injuries have been really bad this season but BR should have seen what many on here did long ago, apart from the odd break away we are far too slow in our build up play. Wasting time in our own half.

Hope this is a wake up call for him and the players but I've got my doubts as the problem has been obvious for far too long
