He's already confirmed that both he and the club have knocked back offers from down south.

BR: "Today I have to say a big thank you to Dermot Desmond, Peter Lawwell and the board at Celtic. January was going to be an important month for us and everything I asked for I was able to get."

BR: "In terms of experience, quality and players we think we can develop. They delivered everything I wanted so it’s a great credit to them and our recruitment team."

BR on @Jack_Hendry2: "At 22 years of age, he’s 6'3, he’s super quick and good one v one defender. I think his potential is huge. That’s what I said to the board when I first seen him play, this is a player I think can be a big player."

BR on @Jack_Hendry2: "When you come to Celtic you have to deal with expectation and pressure. If he can deal with all those things then you’ve got a Scottish centre half who has all the attributes of a top class footballer."

BR on @ScottBain_: "I didn’t know Scott before coming up here but watching him at Dundee he’s a very capable goalkeeper and I suspect with Craig out in terms of international status it could be something that Scotland look to him also."

BR on @ScottBain_: "He understands the line of pass. He contributes in the build-up phase of the game, he’s comfortable with that and make saves. I spoke to both boys they are absolutely delighted to be here

BR on Craig Levein's comments: "It was my 101st game and it was the least game I had to give my players any motivation for. On the aftermath of the last game we had one or two comments that were pretty clear in terms of questioning our desire to win the game

BR on Craig Levein's comments: "Of course with players and people at the club then that sticks. The motivation for the players was simple and I think they showed that in their performance."

BR on @OfficialKillie: "Steve’s gone in there and done an excellent job. He’s got them very well organised, very tight and it will be a tough game for us.

Wish EndThePLC was still on here. His reaction to Brendan’s comments would be immense.

Love listening to Brendan and have every faith in everything he does for our club. A guy living the dream and doing it to a magnificent standard. But, if what we have brought in is everything he asked for - then either he istelling a little fib, or perhaps we need to question what he deems the right quality for the club to push forward.

To be honest, if he wasn't happy then I think he'd be the type to hint that he isnt. He did the same.last January. Publicly said he wasn't happy with business done.

If the same happened this time he'd be offski. I'll take his word.

I think there are degrees of unhappiness. I dont sense he is gutted or even close to ready to leave. But he plays the media game well and he knows there is zero value in giving anything other than a positive opinion at this time. All in celtic spent around 3m in that window - that is a bit more than they will get from gate receipts alone from the zenit game. That is hardly worthy of praising the board. If this represents the top end of his expectations id be curious to see what the low end of his expectations were

I'm too scared to be curious what the low end is.

Honestly, I think he is being smart.
I think he is right in saying he got everything he asked for. As in positions filled.
I'd be surprised if he truly means by the calibre he would want overall.

Money could have been spent here, yet again we haven't.

People now calling Brendan a liar because he’s happy with the business we’ve done, even going out his way to personally thank Lawell and Desmond along with the board, just because they aren’t happy with the window.

Last season has turned some of our fans into greetin faced *.

Truth is that as fans we're always going to be hard to please. Brendan probably is happy enough. He'll know that he himself is a big fish in a wee pond and that he has to do the best he can with limited resources......maybe that's the challenge for him? Maybe he see's all this as career defining. Look at his obvious delight at signing young Jack Hendry? He loves it this idea of being able to create a silk purse out of a sows ear! Not that young Jack is that bad but Brendan sees a challenge and perhaps that's exactly what he thrives on. I think if we had signed Messi himself Brendan would still have shown more delight at signing Jack! Who knows what makes this man tick but I thank * that he's our manager. He's definitely a class act and in years to come he might be remembered by many great footballers as the man who made them!

That's because you want it to be a "little fib".

Rodgers isn't some sort of idiot. If he says he's happy, then he's happy.

Regardless of how unhappy you and others try to paint him.
