I think at long last we can say with some confidence that we have a keeper who will be a great asset to the club.

When Hedman & Douglas went I was happy as I was, and still am in a way, a fan of young David Marshall.

However since Boruc's arrival he has shown up the above three for what they were lacking.

    Confidence, Bottle & Aggression.

Boruc lets forward know he is there, and not to be messed with.

He commands the area and is not stuck to his goal line in fear of arsing up.

    Excellent catch by Celtic.

NB(I was explaining this to my wife.......she replied after some thought that he looks like Ronan Keating)...Trust me to ask.

agreed. his confidence and ability to command the area in such a short time proves just what he can achieve. a few communication problems are still there but that is expected. ideally, celtic should make a permanent offer to legia in january to avoid a transfer scramble in the summer because tbh i can see this lad gettin the attention of a couple of top english clubs.

Totally agreed. At last Celtic have found a keeper that stops me from having a heart attack any time they come out to commit theirselve. Great find by Celtic

I still feel sorry for Marshall, who hasn't really done anything wrong. Boruc is class and he deserved his place in the team, but there's a problem what to do with Marshall to let him improve and gain experience. A loan maybe? But where to?

I predict that after this season is over, Boruc will be headed to EPL....or some big club in Italy or Spain.

We've got first choice if we want to buy him or not. The only thing that concerns me is if they bump up the asking price for him since he's played so well.

If the asking price has been agreed earlier than Legia will never ask
the higher price. They are military club ( former military in fact but
honour still means a lot to them ).

Of course there is possibility that asking price has not been agreed
    before the loan started :-(

I really hope he stays for years in Celtic.

What I heard is that Celtic agreed a 1 year loan deal with the option of signing him at the end of the season. I think Celtic have been given a rough estimate price of how much it would cost, but I think it could easily be risen if Boruc's club decides to raise it.

Unless he starts to play * suddenly, which is very unlikely.. undoubtedly his price will go up, especially with the exposure thanks to playing for Celtic.
Add to this the fact that due to Dudek's injury, Boruc will play in the upcoming qualifying matches for Polish NT against Wales, Austria and most importantly England. As long as he shows a good side, especially against the English, his price will be a lot higher at the end of SPL season.

You cant loan out your No.2 mate. That's why he is there, to fight for his place if Boruc loses form or gets injured.

Aw no mate, I don't want Strachan to start all this keeper switching business as well, not a good thing IMO. I believe it's important to have a No1 week in, week out goalkeeper and allow him to get a good understanding of his defenders and vice versa, that is not to say that I don't think Marshall is ok but overall I think it's important to stick with Boruc. As people have already said he is confident, aggresive and commanding in his area and to be honest we have not had a keeper with those kind of qualities in a long time.

I think he is a good keeper, and is a good age, but I still think there's room for improvement. Nutmeg against the Huns, and alot of miscommunication with defence yesterday. Flapped around the six yard box in amongst players on more than 5 occasions, but maybe he has little confidence in the players in front of him.

Communication problems will certainlty be solved quickly. Contrary to Dudek, Artur always looks confident I hope he'll avoid some silly mistakes which he did in Polish league last season (Cracovia - Legia, for those who watched it)

Sure, there is always room of improvement Zamas. And that improvement will
come. I think that if Maloney and Boruc stay in Celtic - then in 2-3 years
time those 2 will be Cletic's most valuable players.

No surprise if he feels shakey with the bomb scare infront of him, must be a dent to his confidence. Doing himself no harm so far with his performances.
