i love the holy goalie as much as the next man and he is by far the best keeper we have had but does anyone else think he looked a bit suspect at crosses last season. i admit that mcmanus and caldwell let him down at times but i just think this is an area he could improve.

    thoughts?

He's flash Harry when he grabs one out the air and misses the next one, there's a few areas he can improve and I fear we won't have his best years, they're still to come.

boruc is shocking at cross balls at times its the only flaw in his game but he actually looked very good at them against porto came off his line and really surprised me

Remember his first season? Everyone were schocked by his impressing reflexes etc., but he were weak at crosses. Next season it's became much better, but it's still his biggest problem IMO.

    Good topic, btw.

Was discussing Artur yesterday, think it's his bravery and confidence that make him so good because sometimes his positioning can be suspect. novo's goal at The Park was down to him but he doesn't let anything get to him.

Coming for crosses isn't the best part of his game but it has definitely improved since he arrived.

the guys quality but i still think he has weaknesses, mainly coming for crosses. also think at times he tries to be spectacular when he doesn't have to be - main example that springs to mind would be ehiogu's goal and lapses of concentration from time to time ie easter road. at the end of the day though the guys by far and away the best keeper i've ever seen in a celtic shirt and would say in the top ten, at least, on the planet at the moment so think we should be grateful he's here

edit: would also have to say i agree with the folk saying that he is definately working on his weaknesses and improving on them

This is the weakest part of his game, but it still isn't drastically bad. Can be fixed with hard work.
