    I expected that.

If we could offer him a dual role that might interest him. But who knows?

He declined the west ham job not the celtic job, he may not want to take over and be in a relegation battle

Bad news, that's him totally out the running in my opinion.

I was about to post the same thing as Minty. We need someone who's 100% committed to being successful at Celtic.

What about him as manager and when he has to go for the croatia games lennon takes over for the few weeks he is away......we get a manager and lennon gets some time under his belt.......could be a win win...

Wouldn't that cost a lot more in wages? Wouldn't it also lead to potential fallouts, bickering, divisions and confusions in team selection? Wouldn't there be arguments as to who the coaching staff would be?

Excellent news i duno why the * every one here wants him im sorry he has done fantastic at International level but look at the players he is working with , plus he has never worked at club level theres a massive change there , the main reason people want him cause he smokes drinks and plays in a rock band * that ,

not really, the reason he wanted to manage Celtic last summer was because he wanted to manage a big team in the Champions league not one fighting to stave off relegation, if he was willing to leave when his team were in the middle of world cup qualifying he would be willing to come now

His stock has plummeted recently he is without doubt a decent manager but if we're goin for a name i want Sparky Hughes i think hes a superb manager experienced in the premiership, internationally, on the european stage and is used to a huge variance in degrees of transfer budgeting a la Blackburn-Man city!! really hard done to at city all his teams are organised and difficult to break down with 2-3 real creative influense in the team i think this is the direction we need to go in keep the back door shut and you win games!!! results over performance!!!!

To be honest guys, yes, he is a good manager at an international level, but he is not (as many people have said is vital) experienced at club level.

I would be happy if we got him, but all im trying to say is that he would probably find the old firm glasgow 'cauldron' a bit to much to handle- similarly to Mogga.

Not really...lennon is already on the pay roll.....and he would be following bilics orders as he woud be the manager and lennon would be the assistant.
I didnt say two managers at the club, also bilic would go full time when he was finished with his country after the finals.
